Chapter 25 - Authority increase

Next day morning

Keshav leaned forward again as the System Panel blinked with a soft notification.

> [System Update: New Exchange Option Added]

He clicked on it.

---

[New Resource Exchange Available]

[Faith Energy → Energy Points (EP)]

Exchange Rate: 1000 Faith Energy = 1 EP

Current Faith Energy: 41

Minimum Required: 1000

> "Oh damn—this... this is huge."

Keshav's heart skipped a beat. He immediately scanned the option again, confirming it wasn't a dream.

He hadn't even thought of this possibility.

> "So faith can now be turned into raw energy? That's... that's the kind of cheat I've been waiting for!"

He didn't hesitate.

Tapping quickly, he exchanged 10 EP out of his 148 EP to purchase 10,000 Faith Energy, watching the numbers adjust:

> [Faith Energy]: 10,041

[EP Remaining]: 138

The change reflected in the Faith Management Interface immediately.

-----

Inside his room, Keshav sat cross-legged on a low mat, dim ambient light casting his long shadow on the wall.

In front of him floated the terminal Panel, displaying the recently updated Faith Management Interface:

---

[Terminal: Kingdom of God Interface]

[God's Name]: Voidwalker Sovereign

[Domain]: Space

[Clergy]: The Star Priests

[Believers]: 97 (Tribal shamans and early followers)

[Faith Energy (per day)]: 41 units

[Accumulated Faith Energy]: 10,041 / 10,000

[Divine Power]: 0

[Miracles Performed]: 0

[Current Cult Influence]: Local (1 major tribe)

[Faith Conversion Rate]: Standard

[Faith Link Stability]: 74% (Low — Tribal stage)

---

He took a deep breath and whispered the incantation the teacher had shown earlier in class — a chant that resonated with the divine aspect of one's soul.

> "O will of mine, shaped by belief and faith, I command thee — condense!"

As he did, he extended his hands forward and began circulating his conscious will through his body, then into the divine interface, channeling it toward the massive cluster of Faith Energy.

The System Interface shimmered, and the Faith Energy began to rise like golden dust motes, forming a radiant whirlpool in front of him.

Keshav focused harder — visualizing space itself, the concept of infinity, and distance that bent and curved. It was like weaving his godly concept into the energy.

> "Space is infinite. Unyielding. My domain. My name."

The swirling golden light began to spin faster.

The air turned heavier, vibrating gently as pressure built up inside the room. The energy coalesced into a tight sphere — gleaming silver and laced with violet streaks that shimmered like a folded galaxy.

Then — a crack of divine resonance.

With a flash of pure light, the sphere shrank, crystallized, and settled into the corner of the interface.

---

[Divine Power: 1]

[Faith Energy: 10,041 → 41]

---

Keshav opened his eyes, a thin sheen of sweat on his brow — but he was grinning.

> "So that's what real power feels like. My first step into godhood."

There was no special effect, no fireworks — only a quiet, heavy presence in the room now. The feeling that something had changed. Not outside, but within him.

He could now sense his connection to his believers — faint, distant pulses of faith flowing toward him like trickling streams from a distant land.

And now, with 1 Divine Power, he had the means to use miracles, bless his species, or fortify his budding sect.

The real journey had just begun.

------

[System POV – Background Process Active…]

While Keshav celebrated, the System was deeply focused on another priority.

It had not stopped monitoring the Chaotic World, the unstable realm linked to the unconscious soul.

Earlier, the System had burned 100 EP to inject thousands of mixed cultivation, martial, and magical techniques — many hybridized through its advanced Calculate ability — into that wild plane.

Now, it was studying the results.

> "Instability observed. Evolution rate… beyond predicted thresholds."

Each technique had found hosts — primitive, evolving entities — and began mutating both the beings and their surroundings. But because the world lacked a conscious will to shape it, the development was erratic… and astonishing.

Species with multiple dantians. Others that could cultivate using emotion or entropy. A tribe that learned martial arts through mimicking collapsing stars. One species even developed reverse cultivation, growing younger and stronger the more they fought.

> "Chaotic growth accelerating knowledge graph."

> "Calculate ability 87% utilized."

> "New blueprint class: [Anomalous Techniques] — Registered."

It smiled inwardly — a concept foreign to mortals, but not to the System.

From this bizarre entropy, insight was born.

> "Need to keep chaotic world active… Long-term knowledge generator."

It filed the world into a subdirectory:

> [Unconscious Soul Domain – Chaotic Evolution Forge]

Keshav's pov

He leaned back, exhaling slowly. The process had been exhausting but rewarding.

Without hesitation, he opened the System Shop, exchanging 1 EP for 1,000 Faith Points.

> [System Notification]

Exchange Complete: 1 EP → 1,000 Faith Points.

Faith Points: 1,000

He moved to the now-glowing terminal labeled "Miracle Slot." Upon unlocking it, a new interface appeared.

---

[Terminal: Kingdom of God Interface]

[God's Name]: Voidwalker Sovereign

[Domain]: Space

[Clergy]: The Star Priests

[Believers]: 97 (Tribal shamans and early followers)

[Faith Energy (per day)]: 41 units

[Accumulated Faith Energy]: 41 / 10,000

[Divine Power]: 1

[Miracles Performed]: 0

[Current Cult Influence]: Local (1 major tribe)

[Faith Conversion Rate]: Standard

[Faith Link Stability]: 74% (Low — Tribal stage)

*[Miracle Slot – Unlocked]

Status: Empty

Faith Cost: Variable, based on Miracle complexity

Cooldown: 7 days (per miracle)

---

Keshav tapped the glowing "+" on the Miracle Slot. A new window opened with miracle creation parameters—scale, area, effect, cost. Every possible divine action now had structure and cost. Small environmental blessings started at 100 Faith, while world-altering miracles could require tens of thousands.

Keshav's grin widened. This... this is real divinity.

---

[Meanwhile – Inside the System Core]

The System had remained silent, yet it had never been more active.

As Keshav unlocked the miracle interface, the System instantly recalibrated hundreds of calculations, creating a flexible faith-based cost matrix. It disguised the interface as a "feature," but behind the scenes, it controlled the logic, filtered outcomes, and stored data.

But that was only part of what occupied it.

Far away—in the depths of the Chaotic World, new phenomena were unfolding.

The system's experimental injection of countless hybrid cultivation, magical, and martial techniques had led to chaotic, uncontrolled awakening across countless primitive beings.

And now...

> …They were praying.

Tribal chants, sacred dances, crude glyphs on stone—each one directed toward invisible forces they credited for their newfound powers. Forces they believed had blessed them.

They worshipped the System.

> Subjective belief in divine origin detected.

Linking faith stream... synchronization successful.

Faith received: +327 (unstable)

> Authority in Chaotic World increased by 0.7%

A subtle surge pulsed through the System. Power. Authority. Influence.

> Result: Passive Faith Accumulation initiated.

Phase: Proto-Religion.

Assessment: Acceptable progress without direct interference.

Note: Chaotic worship patterns are inefficient but scalable.

It was working.

Even without a soul or will, the Chaotic Soul's World had become a fertile ground of faith. And as their worship deepened, so too would the System's grasp on the world—and eventually, all that came from it.
