Tomodachi game(by shibe father) didn't happen in this world because while using Shibe Father Yuichi did not reveal his face and used a fake name and most of dealings was done by Taizen so Shibe Father can't take his revenge so The events of Tomodachi game doesn't exist( Everything else is canon)
(Yuichi POV)
I cycle through the town delivering newspapers. It's my part time job which helps me pay my bills and give me a living. The people where I work are also nice to me so it isn't that bad. And it does help me wake up early. Shibe had invited us to go to some anime convention nearby in Evening. I have never watched much anime but he did gave me recommendations.
Shibe : Dude you gotta read Berserk. Its totally beginner friendly. Here I'll give you it's first volume.
Yuichi: Is is really good? The name makes it sound gory?
Shibe : Nah nah *flicks finger* Its very wholesome. You gotta read it
I should really give it a read once I get time.
After completing every house I drive my cycback to the shop where the old man and his wife who runs the shop was waiting for me. They didn't treated me as a worker but like their own son.
Old lady: You didn't slept yesterday did you?
Old man: *sigh* this is like 10th time this month you look like this. You don't have to come every day for work . You should really sleep well and focus on your health.
Yuichi: E-Eh? *Awkward laugh* No it's okay. I am fine. I had some assignments left so I just pull an allnight-
Old lady: Yuichi-kun, Do you always have an assignment? *Sternly*
Yuichi: Um...
Old man: That's what I thought. I wonder what you even do at night ... Anyways I am pretty sure you haven't ate anything too did you ?
Yuichi: *stomach growls* Uh
I avert my eyes out of embarrassment.
Old lady: *sigh* you need to take care of yourself more. Here .
She gave me a tiffin which had a great smell of tasty food.
Yuichi: U-Um this is-
Before I could say anything they went back inside the shop. Well it's not a rare occurrence. Many times when they have time they prepare lunches for me. I am pretty thankful to them for this.I put the lunchbox in my bag.
I walk down the road to get a chill drink from the vending machine. Many kids are going to school with their parents or with their friends. I don't know why but it always warms my heart seeing them go to their school. Maybe it's because I want to be like them. Even though
I can never be like them.
I brought a cold drink from the vending and opened it. I drank from it like how an adult drinks beer. Kokorogi told me that she has once tasted beer and told me that it tastes like responsibilities. Pretty weird if I say so. I was enjoying the breeze and the cold drink when I felt a tug on my sleeve.
Hm?
A small boy wearing a kindergarten uniform was tugging my sleeve.
Small boi: U-um Mister my friend there is wounded and she can't walk and our home is very far from here so I can't take her there. Can you help us please?
Welp not like I can refuse when people are watching.
Yuichi: Sure take me to your friend.
Without wasting any time the boy held my hand and dragged me to a nearby park where there was a small girl same of his age was sitting. There was a small wound on her ankle.
Small boi: Usagi-san don't worry I brought someone here.
Yuichi: hmm the wound isn't that bad *checks the wound* how did you got hurt?
Small girl: I fell down while walking to school. Um we have an event today and I am gonna be late.
Tears started forming in her eyes.
Small boy: Usagi-san...
Sigh
Yuichi: would you mind if I help you get to school?.
She looks at me with wide eyes and nods. Welp time to work.
I sit down with my back infront of her as I motion for her to get on my back. She got on my back as I stood back up using my hand to prevent her from falling.
Yuichi: hey Boi run with all you got
He nods
I take a deep breath and ran straight to the direction of their school. I already knew which one it was by their uniforms which had the kindergarten name on it. The boy ran after me with all his might.
After 6 to 8 minutes of running i reach their kindergarten as the name "Futaba Kindergarten" came into the view. I ran infront of the gate and put her down.
Yuichi: Can you from here?
Small girl: Yes thank you very much mister *smiles widely*
Small boi: You were so *huff* fast.
I was not. The only reason I was fast is because I was competing with a kid.
Sigh
Small boi and girl: Once again thank you mister.
They said as they went inside waving me goodbye. Well I guess doing good work does make you feel good.
Moment likes these makes my guard down just so I could enjoy life-
