Yuji waved his phone. "We added each other before he left. Chatted late last night. He's super nice."
You didn't hear his call with Megumi.
Roy thought for a moment. "If he asks how you awakened, say it happened naturally after waking up. Don't mention my ability."
"Got it!" Yuji flashed an OK sign. "Don't worry, I'd die before spilling that."
"Appreciate it."
Roy waved goodbye and headed to the Occult Research Club to check in.
When he arrived, Rias and the others were already there.
After a usual greeting, Roy moved toward the new training equipment area.
But Rias called him over.
"Roy, I found you a new teacher."
"New teacher?"
"Yeah. I think you could use some work on your big-picture thinking. It'll help you handle sudden situations better."
"Makes sense."
Roy nodded in agreement.
This world had few Dragon God-level beings, but plenty of near-top-tier powerhouses.
Even the mighty Trihexa was sealed in the original story.
Until he was strong enough, honing his combat awareness was a smart move.
"By the way, Rias."
"I awakened a new ability to unlock others' potential. Want to give it a try?"
After getting Sona's schedule, Roy recalled Yuji's case and asked.

Having tamed the surge of new mana, Rias opened her eyes, thrilled.

As she spoke, Rias activated Form Shift, her body shrinking.

A blush spread across Rias's face.

Akeno, drawn by the commotion, giggled and teased.
"Just getting used to the new ability."
Rias brushed it off with an excuse.
"Akeno-senpai, want to try my new ability?" Roy chimed in.
"Can't miss a chance to get stronger, but won't spamming this ability strain you?"
"No sweat, easy peasy."
Roy stepped forward.
He'd figured out how to play this new function.
Cast a wide net, reel in the fish.
By bestowing entries on promising talents, he could grow stronger just by collecting their dividends.
Giving Akeno a White entry, Roy then bestowed one each to Kiba and Koneko.
As Rias's handpicked familiars, the trio's own entries were naturally top-notch.
With their entries activated, their strength, like Rias's, surged dramatically.
But while the others beamed with joy, Koneko looked distressed.
