The local church is feeding the strays and suddenly one of them drops. Worrying about the poor thing, a priest takes it inside and tries using holy magic to heal it, but it does not react. Putting the cat up to his ear he can hear the soft noise of it breathing.
After a long day of work at the church the priest takes the, still unresponsive feline to his home to look after it. At his home the cat seems to be recovering from whatever happened to it. It weakly stands up, but refuses to eat. The priest is getting hungry and he cookes some food, potatoes with meat. As he sits down to eat the cat weakly tries climbing on to his dining table, wanting some of his food. The priest does not give in at first, but after a bit of pestering he gives a nice chunk of meat to it who seems to enjoy it greatly. The priest smiles at the sight of the cat chomping down on the large piece of meat. He goes to his bed, still a bit hungry.
The cat follows him and sleeps together with the priest.
