After the emergence of the Blessed among Humans, the natural abilities of Angels began to manifest inside of these newly awoken few. Telepathy, or the ability to hear and communicate thoughts with another, was quickly found to be of great use to humanity.
Quickly, this was made to be a higher-tier asset to the governments of the world; though when more and more of the Blessed were capable of showing off this power, its started to fade into an obscure and hidden light.
The current generation is well-aware of their common-folk's ability to hear their thoughts, so in this day and age, there are not too many that either let their thoughts leak too long, or know to sense when their thoughts are being invaded. The law is always up in air on this particular power.
