Two days passed since So Hyun woke up in Jin Haru's body.
He stayed in his room, pretending to rest. The school said Jin Haru had been stabbed and fell into a coma. No one knew he was awake yet.
In that quiet time, So Hyun learned many things.
He looked around the room. On the wall, he saw a sword hanging. On the desk, magic books. In the mirror, the body of Jin Haru… tall, strong, and young.
He opened a small notebook Jin Haru kept. Inside, it said:
> [Status Window – Open]
Just for fun, So Hyun said the words out loud.
"Status Window. Open."
Ding!
A blue screen appeared in front of him—like a game!
---

---
So Hyun's eyes widened.
"This… this world really works like a game!"
He could see levels, stats, and skills.
And the body had a skill called Enemy Scan.
He smiled.
"If I play this right… I can survive here."
So Hyun sat on the bed and stared at the blue screen.
Enemy Scan (F-rank) — What does it do?
He touched the skill name, and a small window popped up:
> Enemy Scan
See the level, stats, and weakness of enemies.
Can only scan enemies weaker or same level.
Cooldown: 10 seconds.
So Hyun's eyes lit up.
"This is very useful! I can see how strong monsters are before I fight them."
He smiled for the first time since arriving in this world.
"But I'm only Level 3. I need to get stronger."
Then he had an idea.
"If I go outside the academy and fight weak monsters, I can level up."
He opened Jin Haru's closet. Inside were swords, daggers, and a student uniform.
He picked a short sword and hid it under his coat.
"I'll leave tonight. I'll sneak out, find a goblin, and test everything."
That night, So Hyun waited until the academy lights went off.
He put on a black coat, covered his golden hair with a hood, and left through the back gate. No one saw him.
He walked for twenty minutes, until he reached a small forest behind the school.
It was dark. The wind was cold. But So Hyun didn't stop.
"I need to find a goblin," he whispered. "They're weak monsters. Good for beginners."
After walking deeper, he heard a sound.
Rustle.
Something moved in the bushes.
He hid behind a tree and whispered,
"Enemy Scan."
Ding!
> Target: Forest Goblin
Level: 2
HP: 80/80
Weak Spot: Chest
Danger Level: Low
So Hyun smiled.
"This is it. My first fight."
He pulled out his short sword and took a deep breath.
The forest goblin stepped out from the bushes.
It was short, with green skin, long ears, and yellow eyes. It held a rusty dagger and sniffed the air.
So Hyun crouched behind the tree.
His hands were shaking a little.
"Calm down," he whispered. "Aim for the chest. That's the weak spot."
The goblin turned its head.
Too late.
So Hyun rushed forward, swinging his short sword with both hands.
Slash!
He cut across the goblin's chest—but not deep enough. The goblin screeched and jumped back. Blood dripped from the wound.
The goblin charged at him.
So Hyun barely dodged.
The rusty dagger grazed his arm—cutting his sleeve but not his skin.
He turned fast and kicked the goblin's leg. The goblin fell.
So Hyun jumped on top and stabbed straight into its chest—hard and deep.
Stab!
The goblin twitched once… then stopped moving.
Blood soaked the ground. The forest became quiet again.
Ding!
> You killed Forest Goblin!
You gained 50 EXP.
Level Up!
+5 Stat Points Earned.
So Hyun dropped to his knees, breathing hard.
"I… I did it."
His hands were red with blood, but he felt no fear anymore—only power.
He opened his status window again.
> Level: 4
Unused Stat Points: 5
He smiled.
"This world is dangerous… but if I grow stronger, I can survive."
And for the first time in his new life, So Hyun laughed.
