The Earth glowed beneath a setting sun, the city below alive with traffic, noise, smoke, and struggle. But up above it all, perched on the edge of the same damn rooftop he always sat on, was Kikidori. Legs crossed, arms behind his head, staring down at the world like it was a rotten apple he didn't feel like biting into.
He didn't blink.
Didn't move.
Didn't smile.
Until—
**A shimmer of golden light burst open behind him.**
He didn't even turn around.
"Oh, for fuck's sake…" he muttered.
Haruna stepped out of the portal, her usual golden aura dulled a little, as if she hadn't fully recharged in Heaven. She looked… tired. Quiet. Still beautiful—but less glowy than usual.
She walked over without a word and sat down next to him.
Kikidori sighed through his nose. "What the fuck do you want now?"
Haruna looked at the horizon, her hands folded politely in her lap. "To talk."
He rolled his eyes. "Go fuck yourself."
She gave him a disapproving look. "Profanity."
He turned to her, scowling. "Shut up, whore."
Her eyes widened. "*Excuse you?!*"
He exhaled like he was already done with this entire plane of existence. "Don't act surprised. You showed up on *my* roof again, knowing damn well how I talk."
She narrowed her eyes at him. "Charlie and I broke up."
Kikidori blinked once. "And I should give a flaming shit… why?"
She turned her gaze away. "You don't have to."
He leaned forward, elbows on his knees. "Good. Glad we understand each other."
Silence fell for a few seconds.
Then he grinned, teeth sharp as blades. "Alright. Tell you what. You cuss—*just once*—and I'll listen to whatever the hell you gotta say."
Haruna turned to him, mouth half-open in shock. "You want me to… curse? *Me?*"
"Yeah," he said, bored. "Come down from your glittering palace, princess. Show me you've got some edge."
She hesitated. Looked at him. Looked at the city. Then back at him.
A long pause.
Finally, in the softest angelic voice possible, she whispered—
"…shit."
Kikidori immediately burst out laughing. "*HAH! Got your ass!*"
Haruna covered her face, clearly flustered. "I hate you."
"Cry about it, *bitch*," he said with a smirk, leaning back again.
She glared at him. "You're the worst."
"Damn right I am."
Then her tone shifted. Soft. Strange. Serious.
"Come with me," she said.
Before Kikidori could even open his mouth to throw another insult—
**She grabbed his wrist.**
**Golden light erupted.**
**A portal opened beneath their feet.**
"*WAIT—WHAT THE FUCK?!*" Kikidori yelled as the light swallowed them both.
And just like that—
The demon was dragged into Heaven.
