Chapter 33 - Daddy Issues

The sky was still dark when Kikidori left the rooftop.

His boots hit the pavement of Earth with a heavy thud, his black coat fluttering behind him like the wings he never liked showing. The air felt different now—not just because he'd spent the night with a celestial being, but because of *what* celestial being he spent it with.

Haruna.

He banged an angel.

*He banged the fucking sky virgin.*

He smirked as he walked, replaying her noises, the way her wings had shivered beneath him, the stunned look in her eyes after it was all over. Pure. Golden. Holy.

Not anymore.

"Oops," he muttered to himself with a grin. "Guess I broke Heaven's favorite toy."

But the high wore off quick.

Because something was coming.

And it had horns.

---

Back in Hell, the infernal realm burned with its usual fury. The skies glowed red like veins of molten lava. Screams of the damned echoed in the distance. Demons laughed, fought, screamed, moaned—it was Tuesday, basically.

Kikidori descended through a rift that opened in midair, his boots landing on the blackened stone floor of Hell's main plaza.

He didn't get three steps before a voice echoed through the flaming spires like a tsunami made of molten hate.

"KIKIDORI!"

He froze. Blinked.

"Oh fuck."

There he was. Standing at the gates of the bone palace.

Lucifer Morningstar.

The king of Hell. The Morningstar. The fallen one. The first rebel.

And… Kikidori's father.

Lucifer's towering form strode toward him, flanked by two enormous demons that carried obsidian blades and wore armor made from fallen angel feathers. His crimson suit was immaculate, his eyes glowing with power. But his face—

His face was *pissed*.

"What the FUCK is this I hear about you sticking your unholy dick in an angel?!"

Kikidori groaned. "Fucking Cupids."

Lucifer stopped inches from him, fire dancing along his fingertips.

"You're supposed to be my heir. My legacy. And you're out here making out with feathery sky twats? What the actual hell, Kikidori?!"

"It wasn't just making out," Kikidori said with a smug grin. "I *defiled* her."

Lucifer's eye twitched.

"Oh, great. Fantastic. What next? Gonna marry her? Bring her to dinner with the Four Horsemen? Introduce her to your mother—wait, NO, fuck that, your mom will *eat* her."

"I mean," Kikidori said with a shrug, "she's kind of a freak, Dad. You'd be impressed."

Lucifer groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Do you *understand* what you've done? Heaven already hates us. You gave them the perfect excuse to nuke us with righteous fury and flaming Jesus hugs."

Kikidori scoffed. "They've always wanted to do that. I just gave them a *reason*."

Lucifer sighed, and for a second, his wrath melted into something dangerously close to… concern?

"I don't give a damn about Heaven's rules. You know that. But you—You're not supposed to *care* about them, Kikidori. You're supposed to rise above that weak, emotional bullshit."

Kikidori's smirk faded. "I don't *care*, Dad. It was sex. Maybe some jokes. Maybe a few talks. Maybe a little… looking at sunsets and laying in bed together and—" He stopped.

Lucifer's eyes narrowed. "You *like* her."

"No, I don't," Kikidori snapped too quickly.

"You do."

"Fuck off."

Lucifer tilted his head. "So what are you going to do? Take her to brunch? Go pick out halos together?"

"I don't know. She makes me laugh. She makes me *mad* too. And she doesn't treat me like I'm just your spawn. She treats me like—like I'm *me*."

Lucifer blinked.

That made him pause.

Silence burned in the air for a moment.

Lucifer turned away, pacing. "You're my son, Kikidori. I raised you to spit in the face of Heaven, not kiss it."

Kikidori chuckled. "Guess I spit and kissed it."

Lucifer sighed again. This time, heavier. "Just be careful. If you keep going down this path… you might not be able to come back."

"Back to where? Hell?" Kikidori glanced around. "Smells like burnt ass and demon jizz everywhere. Not exactly *homey*, Dad."

Lucifer laughed. Just once. Then he turned, his expression hard again. "Whatever happens—don't expect me to save you if God comes swinging."

"I don't need saving," Kikidori muttered, already turning away. "And I don't need your approval."

Lucifer watched him go, fire crackling around his fingers, eyes unreadable.

As Kikidori vanished into the shadows of Hell's streets, he didn't look back.

Meanwhile, in Heaven, Haruna was *losing her mind*.

She sat in her bedroom, golden armor scattered on the floor, her face flushed red as she clutched her pillow and screamed into it.

"OH MY GOODNESS HOLY HOLY HOLY—" she paused. "I HAD SEX WITH A DEMON."

Angels outside her window were whispering like wildfire.

"Did you hear?"

"With *him*?"

"She *definitely* did the deed."

"Her wings were glowing pink this morning—"

"She's ruined—"

Haruna slammed the window shut and sat on her bed, trying to calm her fluttering heart. But all she could think about was *him*. His smirk. His voice. His hands—

She screamed into the pillow again.

"I need holy water. *So much* holy water."

Still.

She smiled.

Just a little.

Because despite everything—

She didn't regret it.

Not a single moment.
