"Not bad at all. Especially effective when used for a sneak attack."
High above the ground, Yuhara watched the scene unfold below with a faint smirk. His words carried more sarcasm than admiration.
Now that he had figured out Toroi's bloodline ability, Yuhara was extremely cautious of his every move.
Even before Toroi launched his sneak attack with kunai circling behind him, Yuhara had already sensed the faint chakra fluctuation from his body.
So, the moment that chakra fluctuation surged, Yuhara had already activated the Substitution Jutsu.
Still, he was a little late—one of Toroi's kunai nicked his shoulder.
But the cut didn't do any real damage. If anything, it gave him the perfect opportunity to toy with Toroi.
Right after switching positions with the Substitution Jutsu, he noticed something strange—some subtle, lingering chakra on his clothes.
Ninjas never act without purpose. It was obvious that Toroi had left that chakra with an intention.
"He's probably using that to track my location and use Magnet Release against me."
Yuhara had quickly guessed Toroi's plan.
Without hesitation, as soon as he vanished using Substitution, Yuhara stripped off the chakra-marked jacket.
He handed it to a Shadow Clone, while he himself used Flight Technique to float silently above the battlefield and observe.
He didn't fly too high and kept himself hidden behind a building, so there was little chance of being spotted.
Not that he cared. Yuhara never thought Flight Technique was some forbidden or secret skill.
While flight techniques were rare in the ninja world, they weren't unheard of—after all, the Sky Ninja existed years ago.
So, even if it was unusual, it wasn't unthinkable for someone like him to use it.
Especially considering his goal: to become the head of the Uchiha clan—no, someone with even greater ambitions. Showing strength was not only necessary, but essential.
He turned his eyes slightly and noticed that Shisui's battle was already nearing its end.
Shisui's individual strength was truly terrifying—his speed, in particular, was almost suffocating.
His Body Flicker Technique was so fast and bizarre that even Yuhara, with his Sharingan, had to concentrate fully to tell which shadow was Shisui's real body and which were afterimages.
Shisui had refined his speed to such an extent that it blurred the line between Body Flicker and Shadow Clone—his movement so convincing it outdid most clones.
With that kind of speed, the Cloud ninja who also specialized in quick attacks didn't stand a chance. One was already dead, another gravely injured.
To be fair, these Cloud ninjas weren't weak. Even if they weren't from the Anbu, being assigned to hunt down a rogue ninja meant their strength couldn't be mediocre.
But unfortunately for them, they'd encountered Uchiha—an enemy that completely countered their fighting style. Their prized taijutsu and speed meant nothing against the Sharingan.
"I'd better pick up the pace too. Toroi's Magnet Release is tricky, but he doesn't have any intel on me, so…"
Yuhara narrowed his eyes.
Down below, his Shadow Clone was being pushed to the brink by Toroi's relentless barrage of shuriken, yet Toroi remained cautious.
He kept his distance, refusing to engage Yuhara's three-tomoe Sharingan head-on.
From afar, he continued attacking while passively sensing the chakra trail he had left on what he thought was Yuhara's real body.
After several confirmations, Toroi nodded to himself. The chakra he'd marked was still present.
Still, he stayed alert. A ninja who lets their guard down is a dead one.
With a swift motion, he summoned two square-bladed shuriken to his hands.
The rest of the weapons, like iron filings to a magnet, surged toward Yuhara.
But Yuhara was nimble. His Sharingan allowed him to dodge, parry, and close the distance with ease.
Yet he couldn't get close. Every time he advanced, he was forced to retreat again.
"Tch. I thought this Uchiha Yuhara was supposed to be something special. Looks like he's not that impressive after all," Toroi thought to himself.
"Still, considering his age, and that I've fought Uchiha before, his performance is sharp and decisive."
Even without knowing Toroi's abilities, Yuhara had smartly abandoned any weapons that could be magnetically attracted—a move most ninja wouldn't think of under pressure.
But without intel, he was doomed to fail.
Toroi suddenly infused his chakra into the two shuriken, and in a flash, they elongated into razor-thin blades.
With a fierce swing, he slashed toward Yuhara.
This special chakra ensured the blades would be drawn directly to him with deadly precision.
『Magnet Release: Twin Swarm Blades!』
The sharp blades lunged straight at Yuhara's body—just as Toroi noticed something was wrong.
The Uchiha wasn't dodging. He was charging directly at him, eyes full of resolve, completely ignoring the technique's danger.
A terrible premonition seized Toroi's chest—but it was too late. He slashed down hard with both blades.
Puff!
Smoke exploded. Yuhara was gone, and only a tattered jacket fell to the ground.
Toroi's expression shifted. "He figured out the trick?"
Before he could think further, a figure dropped from the sky like a meteor, moving too fast to react.
The attacker didn't hesitate. He slammed a punch directly into Toroi's face.
Crack!
The blow rattled Toroi's skull. He felt like his teeth were about to shatter. But as a seasoned Cloud ninja, his body could take the hit—it wasn't lethal.
However, the next moment, his face turned pale.
Crimson Sharingan—three tomoe—appeared in front of him, locking eyes instantly.
A strange chakra surged into his mind, flooding his brain like a tide.
Everything went blank. The only thing left in his consciousness was that blood-red gaze.
In that moment of vulnerability, Yuhara's hands blurred through hand seals.
A fireball exploded from his mouth.
"Ahhh!"
Flames engulfed Toroi instantly. The agony snapped him out of the genjutsu—but it was already too late.
To Yuhara, once someone became his enemy, there was no mercy.
"And since it was Edo Tensei that made me remember you… I'll make sure you don't even get the chance to come back with Edo Tensei!"
