As Kenji grew up, his fate unravelled more and more. His father lost several battles and the Huang Kingdom lost almost all of its territory. Kenji's parents noticed this when his fate started showing its extreme side. Kenji started to cause destruction wherever he went without even lifting a finger. Sometimes it was a palace crashing down and sometimes a battle being lost by the heavenly realm in his presence. Kenji's parent had no choice but to keep him away, aloof and out of sight. But was it Kenji's fault that he was born like this? Did Kenji really have the choice to select his fate? To Kenji, this was all unfair because he could not figure out what was his fault? Why his parents thrashed him with chains ,called him a monster and locked him in a dark room with nothing but a ray of helplessness. He could not figure out why he was forbidden to practice swords or archery. He could not figure out why he was prohibited from cultivating and why his cultivation powers were sealed by his own father. He could not fathom why his own parent were suddenly treating him like a sinner, like an enemy, like he was the devil. Kenji was just a clueless child begging for mercy, and ways to prevent whatever was making his parents treat him like this, screaming,wailing and begging in agony.
Kenji heard the same agony,in that child's voice. He could not help. He was helpless,this time too.
The sword fell down, his hands trembling. His eyes welled with tears as he felt the agony in the voice praying to him, his core shook with torment. The torment of not being able to help someone wailing in the same agony that he was facing some years ago. He closed his eyes and fell to the ground. Covering his ears with both of his hands,he could not help but scream. He felt the voice sting,he felt them pierce his soul, his past flashing in his mind.
He could not help but answer the prayers,so he did, his trembling hands, his rage, and the agony he felt for the mortal wailing for help created a flower — looming flower. This flower was like a key, a key to relief and a key to escape but only Kenji and the mortal whom he bestowed this flower knew how to use that key.
When he was banished,he had announced to decorate his palace with looming flowers that he created in the backyard of the palace when he would remount.
Kenji's palace garden and backyard were filled with looming flowers. Everyone wondered what was so admirable in that cursed flower, the flower which played a major role in his banishment.
"I have returned — this land remembers my sword , superior gaurdian's decree is for me to reclaim my territory and contribute to heaven's as her warrior. My territory will always rise as the victorious one. We will depart tomorrow for investigation and would freeze every rival who has the audacity to challenge the heavens." Kenji announced.
The hall burst out into an applause,the atmosphere was filled with passion and the palace was filled with echoes of Kenji's voice.
"I order the gods of first caliber to prepare for the war, send the order to the demonic realm. The 'shadow of shooting stars' — Liuxing will face the consequences of challenging the divine realm.
I order the gods of the second caliber to set the schemes and report it to me as soon possible." Kenji ordered.
The sound of the god's clasping their hands and bowing solemnly filled the whole palace. Tonight is not his remount celebration,tonight is the time when he will strengthen his grip on the heavenly realm.
The assembly was dismissed, Kai entered the library with a set of scrolls in his hand.
"Recite." Kenji ordered.
"As your ordered about the information on Liuxing, my lord— his creations are his double sided sword which seems undefeated, and the other one is extremely dangerous — shooting star fall which results in blasting or burning of a kingdom,territory,place,palace, mortal,or anyone who does not bear the spiritual energy to withstand his demonic powers. He is the third deity in his realm and has terrorised the ghostly realm and the south of the divine territory, he has claimed the south territory through the shooting star fall,it is in ruins my lord. It was sixty lights ago. That is when Superior Gaurdian stepped in and took over the war but he challenged Superior Gaurdian to have a war with her best warrior instead of her. He refused to battle with Superior Gaurdian. Not much information is known about Liuxing my lord, it is hard to even take a whiff of him. We tried sending the whisper walkers, even superior gaurdian did but they could not even catch a glance of him, let alone any information. I suggested sending the Night Courier from my lord's territory but Superior Gaurdian's order was to send them after your remount."
"Liuxing….." Kenji said, the name slipped from Kenji's lips like a whispered incantation.
"Nothing is dangerous for us Kai, do not forget that we belong to the Huang Kingdom.
We will claim over the south territory in the time of 25 lights. Strengthen the schemes till then. I would be supervising the practises and war quarters myself." Kenji ordered.
"Now, tell me about the incident to be investigated tomorrow. Is it connected with Liuxing ?" Kenji asked.
"Yes, my lord !" Kai said rolling out the new scrolls he began, "Strange occurrence have been taking place, the realm of ghosts has always faced terrorising attacks from Liuxing but this time, the ghost emperor's daughter has gone missing. Strange creatures with wings have been sighted at the river of spirits. And three lights ago, one of those creatures was sighted taking away a ghost child.
As always, the ghost realm has asked help from us this time too and they suspect it's Liuxing who has done this and we suspect him too."
