Waking up to the tender early morning sunlight had never felt so good, especially after I remembered my past life memories yesterday, it felt even more unique.

After washing up and getting ready. By the way my attire for today was a plain white shirt and blue trousers. I had breakfast, four slices of bread, an extra large spread of jam and left for the first destination for the day, the guild headquarters.

As I was still a new adventurer and not part of any familia, I had asked my guild advisor to let me know if any familia were recruiting or in rare chances any new Gods / Goddesses descended from Tenkai.

....

The guild headquarters was a massive building, entirely made of a material pure white in color, the entrance almost four meters in height, entering the guild led one to a huge hall, to the left side was a row of counters where one could exchange magic stones and drop items, in the middle were booths behind which sat the guild advisers, whom one could approach if they needed any help or wanted to know any information, and towards the right side were a few benches scattered where adventurers or people could sit down and wait, or rest if needed.

Further inside the guild were private rooms which one could you use if they wanted discuss something important, like matters related to their Familia, Level-up's, information about their expeditions, with their advisors, or if they had some special drop items and did not want to make it public.

The guild was almost like the government in Orario, they managed a variety of things, from buying magic stones from adventurers, to managing a familia's taxes, to allocating specific quests to specific familia's based on their strengths, to recording the details about the dungeon, to monitoring which adventurer reached which level and so on.

The first thing a adventurer had to do was register in the guild before they were allowed to enter the dungeon, it was a separate thing if they were a part of a Familia or not.

Normally, when a person joins a familia, the seniors in the familia take them to the dungeon and explain about the dungeon in detail to the new member, but in case if the familia members were busy, the guild would assign them a personal advisor who can help them with the details of the dungeon, the types of monsters found and which floor they can explore on and what things to be careful of.

A personal advisor was also assigned for people who had just become an adventurer and were still not part of any familia and were searching for one, and whether a person still wanted a personal advisor after joining a familia was a separate matter.

...

I reached the guild building and looking at the huge entrance, and the guild which usually by this time would have people entering and leaving through the entrance in throngs, with the sounds of adventurers arguing over the money given for their magic stones or drop items, adventurers chatting with their advisors, but strangely was a little too quiet today, people were only entering the guild, not many leaving.

I entered the guild, and immediately felt a tense atmosphere everywhere, and upon looking around, a group of people were crowded in the right side of the hall where the benches were, and through the gaps in the crowd, I could see a few guild employees standing there with a tense look on their faces, speaking to someone opposite to them.

Squeezing through the crowd and upon reaching the front, the first thing I saw was a muscular man wearing a red and yellow elephant mask over his face and next to him, a very beautiful mature woman with long wavy golden honey colored hair and orange eyes standing next to each other.

Opposite them another person, a short chubby elf with white hair and green eyes, wearing a guild uniform. The three of them were discussing something with tense looks and the nearby guild employees speaking when asked for inputs.

It was easy for me to recognize the muscular man as Ganesha and the mature woman as Goddess Demeter.

But I was not able to recognize the short chubby elf in the guild uniform.

It was only after listening to the people around me for a while did I get to know that the short chubby elf was Royman Mardeel, the head of the Guild.

I made my way to the back of the crowd and asked some adventurers about the what the issue was and why the gods and the head of the guild here.

"Ha, it's the Evilus up to something again, today morning three adventurers were found dead in the Deadulus street, all blood drained from their bodies, a few adventurers found them and informed the guild. The guild then investigated their identities, one was a Level 2 from the Ganesha Familia and the other two are Level 1's from the Demeter Familia"

"And also after receiving this news, the guild immediately sent messengers to inform the two familia and their gods, and both those gods rushed to the guild with a few of their familia members."

"All of us adventurers and the guild members are scared that it may be another repeat of the Evilus' schemes, especially something similar to the Great Feud, after all many of their commanders were still alive after the end of the Great Feud.

"The guild contacted the Astraea Familia and has started the investigation, but are also waiting for the Astraea Familia members to arrive before proceeding further." an adventurer with a eye-patch over one eye, informed me in a subdued voice.

His face was tense, now that I took a look at the adventurers nearby, they all had tensed looks.

Just as the adventurer finished speaking, the guild door opened swung open with a large sound, drawing the attention of all present in the hall, within a second, all the eyes of the people present inside turned to look at the guild entrance.

Entering from the door was a group of girls led by a red haired girl with bright green eyes that seemed to sparkle even in the bright daylight. Her red hair was tied in a single ponytail making her beautiful face look even more attractive.

Anyone in Orario would know the name of the red head, with the alias Scarlett Harnell, the one and only captain of the Astraea Familia, Alize Lovell, who was a Level 4 Adventurer at just 16 years old and one of the most well liked adventurer in the whole of Orario.

On the right side behind her was another beautiful girl with long black hair, dressed in a Kimono with a robe draped over it.

She was also a Level 4 adventurer, with the alias Yamato Bellflower, not a native of Orario instead hailing from the Far-East, Gojouno Kaguya, rumors were there that she was a princess in the far east but had fled from there due to some reason and also known as the vice captain of Astraea Familia.

On the left side behind Alize was a blond girl, with sky blue eyes, and a tint of gold to her blond hair, she was a rookie comparable or stronger than the Sword Princess, Ais, with her coming from an elven background as can be seen because of her pointed ears, only her nickname 'Gale Wind' was known to the public along with her surname Leon (spelled as Lion). She was another super rookie who had been climbing levels and growing stronger, and had reached Level 4 despite her not being a adventurer for long.

There were five other members of the Astraea Familia following behind them, Lyra, a Level 4 pallum adventurer, Neze Rankett, a Level 4 Werewolf, Maryuu Reage, a Level 4 human healer, but was carrying a huge hammer, Iska Bra, a Level 4 Amazoness and finally Celty Srowa, a Level 3 mage, but skilled in defense instead of firepower.

The entire hall which was full of chatter and noise was silenced in an instant, with all the people inside now fully focused on the members of the Astraea Familia.

The moment they walked in, the adventurers face which had been tense just a moment ago, unconsciously relaxed. It was like they brought a breath of fresh air with them.

The two gods and the guild head too started walking toward the Astraea familia members, who after looking around for a moment spotted them and started moving towards them.

The guild too had it's reasons to first think of contacting the Astraea Familia for this murder case, one, this was guaranteed to be the handiwork of the Evilus and the Astraea Familia were fighting against the Evilus for almost years now.

The second being that the Goddess Astraea was also known as the goddess of justice and was very good friends with Demeter.

And lastly even if the guild did not inform the Astraea Familia, the members of the Ganesha Familia would inform them.

And also, after listening to them talking it seemed Ganesha had taken the responsibility to lead the investigation along with the Astraea Familia Members as the Demeter familia was not an exploration type familia, instead it is an agricultural and business type familia and they did not have any high rankers or first class adventurers. It was decided that they would provide support instead of being on the frontlines.
