Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: Duel of Prodigies

The match raged on —wild, beautiful, merciless.

Bayern and Barcelona traded attacks like heavyweight boxers trading punches.

The crowd roared with every surge, every near-miss, every flash of brilliance.

And in the heart of it all,two young stars shone brighter than the rest:

Mateo González and Lamine Yamal.

After Mateo's stunning assist, Bayern played with renewed belief.

Musiala orchestrated clever combinations in midfield.Goretzka thundered into tackles.Kimmich barked commands, pushing the team forward.

Mateo roamed the right flank, energized and alive.

Every time he touched the ball, the Allianz Arena buzzed in expectation.

But Barcelona wasn't crumbling.

They adapted.

They tightened their lines.

They struck back.

And leading the charge was Lamine Yamal.

In the 38th minute, Barcelona broke quickly after a Bayern corner.

The ball was fed to Lamine on the right.

Mateo, tracking back with everything he had, squared up to him.

For a moment, the world shrank to just the two of them.

Lamine feinted left.

Mateo didn't bite.

Lamine accelerated right.

Mateo matched him stride for stride.

They clashed shoulder to shoulder, two forces colliding.

The ball bounced free —but Lamine was quicker to recover.

He cut inside sharply, slipping past another defender, and curled a vicious shot toward the far post.

Ulreich dove at full stretch —and with the tips of his gloves, pushed the ball wide.

A brilliant save.

But the warning was clear:

Lamine wasn't backing down either.

Mateo jogged back into position, chest heaving, mind whirring.

"This guy's incredible," he thought.

But deep down,he smiled.

This was everything he ever dreamed of.

A true rival.

A true battle.

Minutes later, Bayern had the ball again.

Mateo received a pass near the halfway line, immediately pressured by two defenders.

He pivoted sharply, slipping between them with a slick roulette turn.

The crowd gasped.

He surged forward, spotting Tel making a diagonal run.

A quick one-two pass.

The ball came back to Mateo at the edge of the box.

He wound up —struck —but a Barcelona defender threw himself in the way.

The shot deflected wide for a corner.

Both teams were relentless.

Both prodigies relentless.

Mateo and Lamine weren't just playing a match.

They were painting a duel —each move, each touch, a brushstroke on a masterpiece of competition.

As the first half neared its end,the score still stood: 1-1.

But no matter what the scoreboard said —this night was already something unforgettable.
