(At the Angels Of Slaughter Yakuza Headquarters).
Kanako as the narrator: "My name is Kanako, and as an Orb, I don't have a last name. I'm the daughter of Zentarō, the Yakuza Boss of the Angels Of Slaughter, and my adopted brother is Kiyozawa. To be honest, I'm not interested in taking over the family business - Kiyozawa can handle that. What I really care about is finding love."
She lingered in the hallway, unintentionally overhearing the hushed conversation between her adopted brother and father. Despite knowing better than to eavesdrop, her curiosity got the better of her, and she found herself straining to hear what they were discussing.
(In the office).
Zentarō: "I've received disturbing reports that you've been kidnapping children again, despite my previous warnings to cease such activities. Can you explain why you've chosen to disregard my warnings and continue engaging in this harmful behavior?"
He shoots his adopted son Kiyozawa a scathing glare, his frustration and annoyance palpable after repeatedly warning him to stop kidnapping children, only to be met with blatant disregard.
Kiyozawa: "I'm only doing this for you and your organization. I've done nothing wrong. I'm trying to raise enough money to help us all transcend the demonic category. Can't you see that my actions are positive? We can all be reclassified as God Orbs."
He looks at his boss with a confused expression, wondering why he doesn't like the plan that he had put so much thought and effort into.
Zentarō: "I refuse to accept your money if it's tainted by illegal activities. If you continue down this path, I'll have no choice but to report you to the authorities."
He spoke in a cold, detached tone, his words deliberately chosen to convey the gravity of his statement and to leave no doubt in his adopted son's mind that he was resolute in his intentions.
Kiyozawa: "..."
His eyes widen slightly as he processes the unexpected warning from his boss, his mind struggling to comprehend the revelation, and he can't help but wonder why he isn't feeling more grateful for the opportunity he's been given.
Zentarō: "This is the final warning."
He glares sternly at his adopted son, his eyes burning with a mix of disappointment and frustration, as he issues a final warning: if he commits one more crime, he will have no choice but to turn him over to the authorities.
Kiyozawa: "..."
He looks down sadly as he walks out the door, closing it softly behind him, and is met with the unexpected sight of his sister, Kanako, standing in the entranceway.
Kanako: "..."
She remained silent, letting him pass, as she struggled to comprehend the shocking revelation that her adopted brother was capable of committing the most heinous crime.
Kanako as narrator: "I forgot to mention that my adopted brother hates me, apparently because I was born a God Orb, which is something I have no control over. I assumed he was just jealous since he's a Demonic Orb."
As she follows her brother outside, she hopes he'll take their father's words seriously, particularly the warning, and then she watches in curiosity as he grows his black angelic wings and soars into the sky.
Kanako: "Kiyozawa!"
She unfolded her dark wings and soared into the air, chasing after him with the suspicion that he was on the verge of committing another terrible act. This was the first time she'd ever utilized her power, as she typically avoided Yakuza duties, but stopping her brother was unavoidable. She flew faster than ever before, catching up to her brother in an instant and embracing him tightly.
Kanako: "Kiyozawa where are you going?"
She looks at him, puzzled about his destination, but he responds with a chilling glare. Then, without warning, a portal opens up, sweeping them away to a world that's nothing like their own.
Kiyozawa: "..."
As he takes in their surroundings, his eyes grow wide with confusion. The city looks nothing like what he's used to, and the people are a mix of humans and animals walking on two legs. The humans seem completely at ease with this unusual arrangement. He turns to his sister Kanako, thinking that her distraction is what led them to this strange place.
Kanako: "Don't look at me like that! I was trying to stop you from kidnapping children!"
She blurts it out loud, prompting the surrounding crowd to scream 'villain' as they flee in terror. As people run away and call her brother Kiyozawa a villain, a group of costumed individuals appears out of nowhere and tells the supposed villain to stop right there.
Male Hero: "Stop right there villain!"
With a glare, he creates blades from thin air using his quirk, and the other heroes get ready to defend themselves by activating their quirks.
Kiyozawa: "Kanako fine a place to hide. I'll come and look for you once everything is over."
He proudly displays his dark, angelic wings to the heroes, then unleashes a ear-piercing shriek that sends sound waves through the area, causing the heroes and some bystanders to collapse. He looks back to see his sister Kanako following his advice and running away from the area.
(In his mind).
"For some reason I want to leave her behind but the boss cares about her truly."
(Out of his mind).
Kanako: "..."
She sprinted down the dark alleyway, desperately seeking a place to hide, but in her haste, she accidentally bumped into someone. As she looks at the person, her eyes widen, and she feels an inexplicable connection, signaled by the flashing life force on her chest. The man, who appears to be in his late twenties, wears a plague doctor mask that hides half his face, but his piercing gold eyes mesmerize her, and she falls deeply in love. A pale young man with a slender build, the individual has short, shaggy auburn hair and a small scar above his left eyebrow. His eyes are thin with small gold irises, and he has long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. He wears a plague doctor mask over his mouth and has three piercings in his left ear. His outfit consists of a black dress shirt, matching pants, a pale gray tie, and a dark olive-green bomber jacket with a purple fur collar. White lace-up sneakers and white surgical gloves complete his attire. A faint blush rises to her cheeks as she looks at him, but she quickly steps back, alarmed by the hives that erupt on his skin and the scowl on his face.
Overhaul: "Filthy."
He takes off his white glove and tries to disassemble her with his quirk as punishment for bumping into him. In a flash, Kiyozawa appears in front of Kanako, using his wings to shield her and slash Overhaul's arm, causing him to bleed as a warning for nearly harming his sister.
Overhaul: "Who the hell are you?"
He grunts in pain while reassembling his arm with his quirk, healing himself completely, and asks the young man with the black face mask, who is with the woman with blackish purplish hair and red eyes, a question.
Kiyozawa: "..."
His glare burns with hatred towards the person who attempted to harm his sister, driven not by a desire to protect her, but rather by the knowledge that his boss, who cares deeply for her, will be angered, and his clothing implies an affiliation with the Yakuza or organized crime.
Kanako: "My name is Kanako, and this is my brother Kiyozawa. I don't mean to be intrusive, but I was wondering, do you have a girlfriend?"
Kiyozawa and Overhaul's eyes widen in surprise as they hear the news, with Kiyozawa unable to fathom why his sister would want to date someone who had previously attempted to harm her, and Overhaul seeing it as an opportunity to use her for his own benefit.
Overhaul: "If you both join me in the Shie Hassaikai, I'll consider what happened earlier water under the bridge. You're both talented, and I think we could achieve great things together. Plus, I'd like to explore the possibility of dating you Kanako."
He tells Kiyozawa and Kanako, especially Kanako, that he's dating her, while secretly intending to use her for his own purposes.
Kiyozawa: "How can you consider dating this guy, Kanako, after he tried to hurt you?"
His eyes widen in confusion as he looks at Kanako, wondering why she'd want to date someone who wants to hurt her, and he speculates that the guy might be taking advantage of her.
Kanako: "I'll do what I want Kiyo."
As she turns away from him, she moves towards the man she's attracted to, not realizing he plans to take advantage of her.
