Chapter 1 - Reincarnation

"Fuck this shitty life," Zion spat, rotting under a blistering 40-degree sun. "If only I could just wipe out all these bastards living their cozy little lives without a care in the world."

Rage burned in his gut, and hell, he wasn't entirely wrong. Born 21 years ago, he never knew his mom—she died giving him life. His dad? A drunk who pissed away his days at the town's strip club. When he wasn't there, he was beating Zion until the kid blacked out.

At nine, Zion snapped and killed his old man. They threw him in a juvie lockup, but when he swore to hunt down every last person responsible, the judge decided prison was better. Ten years in a cage. He got out at 19, a free man with nowhere to go. Tried finding work, but a rap sheet like his? Good luck. The only guy who offered him a job wanted his dick in return, so Zion killed him too. This time, nobody pinned it on him. For two years now, he'd been a homeless ghost, drowning in a world where justice and injustice fucked each other senseless.

Zion never once thought about offing himself. Why should he die when everyone else got to breathe?

"Fuck it, I don't know why, but I'm damn sure Mother Nature's gonna hand me revenge," he muttered, dragging himself up to scrounge for something to shut up his stomach, growling for four days straight.

After some digging, he found a half-rotten can of dog food in a stinking dumpster. To him, it was the goddamn Holy Grail. He tore into it like a starving wolf. But in his frenzy, it all went to shit in a heartbeat.

Two hours later, anyone passing that dumpster would've seen his body, lifeless, reeking in the filth. He'd choked on a chunk of that cursed dog food.

"What a shitty way to die!" he growled, not even clocking that he was talking while dead.

"Wait—what the fuck?! I'm actually dead?!" He laughed, bitter and unhinged. "Shitty life, shittier death. I thought I'd at least go out like a hero or whatever, blowing up the world with badass powers like my idol, All for One. That guy? A fucking visionary. He saw the world for the garbage it is and said, 'Nah, I'm not taking this crap lying down.'"

All for One kept Zion sane in juvie. The guards let them read manga during rec time, and that's when he found it—strength, real strength. "Man, those were the days," he sighed.

< Ping >

A sharp notification cut through the silence of his death.

"What the hell's that?" Zion blinked at a glowing blue screen floating in front of him. "Looks like some isekai system bullshit."

Sure enough, it was a system interface:

<

Name: Zion

Age: 16

Quirk: Loading…

Special Ability: Loading…

Energy: 0

Endurance: 0

Strength: 0

Appeal: ∞

>

"What the—16?! This system's dumber than a bag of hammers. Can't even get my age right. And these stats? Zero across the board, except infinite appeal? Who gives a shit about that?" He smirked. "Though… maybe that's not so bad."

His thoughts spiraled, but suddenly, a jolt yanked him downward. The darkness around him melted away, and a new world flickered into existence.

When Zion opened his eyes, he was sprawled on a bed in a strange room, decked out in pajamas. He bolted upright and sprinted to a mirror.

"Holy shit! I'm a goddamn stud!" he shouted, striking ridiculous poses like he was auditioning for a boy band.

"Zion!" a soft voice called from outside, unfamiliar but warm. "You awake? Move your ass or you'll be late for the academy!"

"Who the hell's that?" Zion thought. "Academy… wait a sec…"

"System," he said instinctively, like he'd done it a thousand times.

<

Name: Zion

Age: 16

Quirk: Loading…

Special Ability: Loading…

Energy: 0

Endurance: 0

Strength: 0

Appeal: ∞

"Sixteen years old, 'Quirk' in the attributes, and she mentioned an academy. Gotta be My Hero Academia—or something close. But why's 'Quirk' still loading? And what's this 'Special Ability' crap? Same deal. Too many questions. Why's my name still Zion in this world? New body, new face, younger age—obviously reincarnated. What's the deal?"

He shook it off. Plenty of time to figure that out later.

< Ping >

Another notification. Zion's eyes locked onto the screen, and his jaw dropped. Slowly, a twisted, villainous grin spread across his face.

System Update –

Quirk: All for One

Special Ability: (Locked)

>

"Heh… hehehe… HAHAHAHA!" His laugh echoed like a madman's. "This shitty world just turned into my playground. I'm gonna fuck everyone up."

Right then, the bedroom door flew open with a bang.

"What's all this noise?!"

Zion froze. His eyes widened, heart pounding.

"…Mirko?!"
