Ever since the day that Gemistos and Therosia had taken Thynami in, life had become so much harder. The boy had grown at an incomprehensible speed, he was only two months old and yet he was already the size of a young child.
"MOTHER!" Thynami shouted as he ran into the room, throwing himself at her. Therosia laughed as she fell back into the bed. "I did it mother, i did it!" She laughed again, seeing the massive grin on the boy's face. "And what did you do?" Thynami jumped up and grabbed her hand, " I'll show you!"
As Therosia walked out of the palace she couldn't believe what she was seeing. The land around the palace, which was usually an arid savannah, had a massive thunderstorm gathering above, rain pelting down onto the hills and sparse trees. She glanced down at her son, a look of shock, awe and horror on her face. How could a human be capable of such a thing?

"HIGHER!" Basilius Ducas shouted as he swung his sword down at the young boy's head. Thynami raised his sword and deflected the attack before going in for an attack. Basilius barely deflected it and knocked the sword out of Thynami's hand. A deep frown formed on Basilius's face as he tapped his sandals with it. He mumbled something to himself as he walked over to the armoury.
Thynami turned to his father, worried, but Gemistos just smiled and nodded reassuringly, from where he stood high above the training grounds.
Basilius soon returned but this time with a pair of gauntlets in his hand. "I was going to give those to you when you were ready, but I've just had an idea." Tossing the gauntlets over, he grinned, "use your instincts."
Thynami's attacks were fast and ferocious, keeping Basilius constantly on the back foot. The floor erupted in a rain of mosaic, as Thynamis' fist hit the ground.
Basilius jumped back, but the boy was right on him less than a second later.
"STOP!" Basilius shouted, "I surrender."

Thynami was only one year old when he went off to war. The hostility between the two nations had escalated rapidly and the straw that broke the camel's back had been when the Peronian ambassador had insulted Therosia. Thynami had lunged at the man, form where he stood in the shadow of a pillar, and in one quick motion tore the man's heart out. The ambassador's guards immediately turned their laz rifles on him, but before they could fire a shot, Thynami bare handedly cut through all of them, slicing them in half.

10 million men, 10 million trained and loyal Chrisosian Soldiers. That was what Thynami took with him to war.
It had been a week since he had left and Therosia was beginning to get worried. She was about to go to the sorcerers to ask them if they could scry some information when she heard cheering from the city. Poking her head out of the window she saw a massive Star ship above her. Her heart skipped a beat. It belonged to Peronia but then she noticed the colour, It had been plated gold, with black accents, the colours of House Bardas.

"MY SON!" Gemistos shouted to the crowd, as Thynami walked onto the balcony overlooking the plaza. The people started chanting his name but Thynami raised his hand and everyone went silent. There was an air of pure power whenever someone laid eyes on him non even considering defying him.
"Men and Women of Chrisos. We won!" Everyone erupted in cheers again calling out different names, husbands, sons, fathers, brothers.
"But, we are not done. Our glorious Kingdom, no, our glorious Empire is still surrounded by villainy, enemies that wish to see us fall." Thynami lent against the banister and took a deep breath, "But I will not allow it, I will not allow them to succeed. I shall go out into the cosmos to destroy them before they destroy us, to save those that must be saved." He then stared down at the crowd, golden eyes glittering, "Will you join me?"
For a second there was silence before the plaza erupted in cheers.
"BARDAS! BARDAS! BARDAS!"

Vulkas, the closest planet to Katharos, was covered in lush green planes and ruled by the Heclos family.
"Basilius prepares the men for descent!" Thynami ordered from his throne on the bridge. "Of course my prince." his right hand man said, before rushing off.
Thynami sighed, and closed his eyes, reaching out with his mind he touched that faint barrier and gently ever so gently reached through. His body felt hot, his mind felt clear, and with a jolt he opened his eyes.
"Your highness we're ready when you are!" Basilius said from where he stood, next to the door.
High King Arkos Heclos, stood in front of his palace surrounded by his most elite guards, as the elefantas, a sub orbital ship approached. They're morale immediately crumbled as they saw the fully armoured Thynami Bardas step out of the ship, tall tanned with short black hair and eyes like the sun, he radiated power like no other.
"We wish to offer you our terms of surrender." Arkos said, still standing straight, eyes locked with Thynami.
