The little creature clapped with joy, "Mommy, hurry, Mommy, hurry!"
Ave Carlisle got the little creature ready, dressed neatly, and it was half an hour later when she carried the little one downstairs.
The youngsters who had been playing a snowball fight finally got to see Emma's face, each of them marveling at Emma's deep blue eyes, and then they all came forward to greet Emma with affection.
Ave spoke to one of the young nurses, "I need to step out for a bit, can you guys watch Emma for me?"
"Of course, no problem, Dean Carlisle."
"I've prepared her breakfast, it's warm on the table, take her up to eat in half an hour."
"Alright. Dr. Carlisle, don't worry, I know a bit of French, communicating with little Emma won't be an issue."
Then, Ave relayed some instructions to Emma in French, broadly about playing with the uncles and aunties for a while as mommy had some errands to run.
