~Blake~~
I transformed into my wolf form and waited for Alexander to climb onto my back, but he smiled and started coughing blood.
You look so beautiful. He said as he cupped my face, kissed my forehead, and fainted.
A sad sob escaped my lips. My wolf snarled. I felt pain. My blood felt like ice in my veins., sadness drained through my body, traveled through every cell, making my existence exhausting.
I nuzzled into his chest. He was still breathing, but faintly; I panicked as I saw him. It is imperative that nothing terrible happens to you. Please stay with me, Alexander. I need you. It broke my heart to think that he might die. I howled as loudly as I could and shifted back into my human form again.
"I was shocked to find out that my bracelet had broken."
My stomach shook with a high-pitched sigh when a strong wind blew my hair back. My eyes, which were red from the tears, became blue and glowing as my hair flowed behind me as I carried Alexander.
I could see the lake in the trees with a reflection of the moon. However, as I walked further into the trees, the lake seemed to move away from me. Two hours later, I found a white tree with a golden rune around its root, a brown thick rope around its branches, and a half moon. I had to save him...
"I laid him flat on his stomach to look at his back. The poison has spread to his left hand, black spider web lines with thick veins"
"My heart ached"
In all honesty, I am not sure what I was doing. As soon as I pointed my fingers towards his wound, we fell to the ground. I grabbed Alexander in my arms and flipped him back onto me. I didn't want him to fall on the ground or in the water.
I landed in a soft spot in a cave, holding Alexander in a tight embrace. A cool breeze touched the warmth of my cheeks, bringing my senses back to life, and I realized what was going on. I opened my eyes and stared into the dim light. The full moon illuminated through a small hole. It got brighter by the minute, and I could see a small pond with gypsum flowers on the edges of the pond. In addition, I could see thin flexible epsomite projecting from the wall. I scanned through my bag; I found my phone, put on the flashlight, and looked around.to see what I could find.
I found an old creek wooden bed that was almost falling apart, but Alexander can manage it for tonight, until I can fix it in the morning.
"I lay him on his stomach after dusting the bed, covering him up with an old colorful quilt that has repetitive block patterns of Moon, star and an animal which looks like a fox."
I was staring at the far end when I slowly drifted to sleep.
Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a glowing glint. I made my way through the pond water towards the glow. My pace left small dents in the soft, glittering sand. Moonlight poured across the vast area, quickly guiding my way around the cave. As I got closer, the glow seemed to form the shape of a woman. In the light breeze, her shimmering dress flowed like waves. Her exquisitely silvery hair rested on her back as the wind moved it along with the direction of the wind. Certainly, she was a god, but there was no expression on her face. The tip of her foot swayed in the air beneath the water.
Suddenly, her head turned towards me and the corner of her lip seemed to form a smile as she gestured me forward. Several long eyelashes fluttered behind her glowing eyes, and her smooth face showed calmness. Sadly, I didn't care about how I looked at all. She gestured to sit in front of me on a stone.
Blake she spoke softly and smoothly with her voice. It took you a considerable amount of time to find your mate.
My mate? Taking a deep breath and gazing at her, I leaped back in a half-dry smile.."Why can't I feel the bond between us, if he was my mate?"
As she spoke, her voice remained calm. "Isn't that what you're here for?"
"What can I do to save him?" I asked.
The ashes of a Lone Wolf will cure him of the poison caused by Miranda's blighted bloom attack. Don't take too long. Otherwise, it will harm him physically. Her voice was still quiet.
Where can I find the ashes of a wolf?
It's up to you, she replied, her voice hoarse this time.
I would appreciate it if you kept him alive until I returned.
With a smile on her face, she replied, I would
Thank you for the kindness you showed me. I look forward to repaying you in the future. I felt stupid after blurting out that last part. What can I possibly do to repay her?
You don't need to replay me, you just have to be strong enough for the both of you.
What do you mean by Strong enough for the?... Before I could finish my sentence. She rubbed my head and vanished..
Suddenly, I jolted awake from sleep, sweating and panting. As I look at Alexander, I see he is still sleeping peacefully, looking like a Greek demigod (I smile sheepishly).
After I fixed the bed, I made sure he was comfortable. I carried my backpack and looked for a path. I tried getting up through the opening, but it was impossible. As an alternative, I walked toward my dream and discovered a small opening. The cave was cold and had lots of markings all around it. It will be easier to walk back since I have added my own, it will be more convenient.
In the end, I came into a small city after walking for three hours. I made signs at the entrance to help me remember. In order to figure out where I was, I strolled for a few minutes. A local restaurant caught my attention, and I stopped by. A couple of people were drinking and eating as I walked inside. I hope Alexander is safe? They cut my thought short when a server waved their menu at me. "Rules are you can't sit ordering nothing," sounded rude.
Along with my burger, I ordered lemonade.
As I ate my meal, I listened to most of the conversations that they were having.
Suddenly, I woke up in a noisy room with chains around my ankles. Initially, I thought I was dreaming, but as the noise grew louder, and when I opened my eyes, I saw men, women, and children living in chains...
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was eating. As I speak, my voice is shaky.
You've been sleeping for four hours, food knocked you out. A boy said he shouldn't be older than sixteen or seventeen years old.
What is this place? I asked again.
As the boy moved closer to me, he whispered, either they use us as domestic workers, as soldiers in their army, or as sex slaves.
I was shocked. How long have you been here? I asked him in a whisper.
His eyes filled with tears as he said, "Two weeks"
What have you been doing? I whispered again.
A plaything for the Alpha and his stupid bunch of friends, while he weeps with a heavy heart.
I'm so sorry I mumbled
It's okay, first few days were terrible, he said while sniffing
I felt so terribly sorry for him... I was about to ask who the alpha was when a man walked in, followed by a few guys, and everyone kept quiet.
What can you do? The sound of his voice sounded loud and thick. My head bowed down. At first, I didn't even notice that he was speaking to me until he kicked me in the arm.
I jolted because of the pain. I said what can you could do? He asked again.
He is a pretty lad. I know the leader will like him, said one from behind.
I am a chef. I quickly responded, A chef? He repeated.
I nodded in response
One of them gestured for me to come with him. I quickly grabbed the boy next to me, came with me, I whispered to him and we both stood up.
It has been two weeks now that I have been stuck in this hellhole, and it kills me to think about what might happen to Alexander.
We need to get out of here; I whispered to Leo. We got acquainted, and he told me he became a lone wolf after they killed his parents, but was captured and brought here.
