Chapter 10 - Chapter 9 peter's shock(a short chapter)

Peter groaned as he opened his eyes to the bright morning light streaming into the room. His head was pounding, and his body felt strange—like it didn't quite belong to him anymore. "Ugh… Why does my head hurt so much? And my body… what is going on? It's like I could lift a truck right now. Did I sleep funny or something?" Stretching his arms, he flexed his fingers, amazed at the unfamiliar sensation of power coursing through his muscles.

Turning his head, Peter saw Aadi sprawled out on his bed, snoring lightly, blanket half-hanging off the edge. Smirking, Peter yelled, "Hey, lazybones! It's morning! Wake up before Aunt comes in and decides you need a lecture on how to start your day properly!"

At the mention of Aunt May, Aadi groaned and buried his face deeper into his pillow. "Ugh, Peter. Five more minutes, man. The world's not ending yet."

"Thirty seconds," Peter threatened. "Then I'm calling Aunt, and you know how much fun her 'motivational speeches' can be."

Grimacing, Aadi sat up, hair sticking out in all directions. "Fine, fine! I'm awake. You play dirty, man. You know I'd face a dinosaur before dealing with Mom's angry morning lectures. Anyway, are you feeling better today?"

Peter paused, feeling the strength in his muscles again. "Honestly? I feel amazing. Like… maybe too amazing. Weird, huh? I'll take a shower, and we'll head to school."

Aadi tilted his head thoughtfully. "Huh. It must be Mom's cooking working its magic on you. Go ahead, you can use the bathroom first."

The Door Handle Incident

Peter grabbed his towel and headed for the bathroom, still marveling at the strange sensations in his body. Reaching for the door handle, he gave it a light tug to open the door. CRACK! The handle came off in his hand, leaving Peter staring at it in disbelief.

"Uh… Aadi?" Peter called out hesitantly.

"What now?" Aadi groaned, flopping back onto his pillow.

"The bathroom door… The handle broke off. It's in my hand."

"What do you mean, it broke off?" Aadi bolted upright, panic flashing across his face. "Peter, WHAT DID YOU DO? Mom is going to turn us into door handles if she sees this!"

"I didn't pull that hard!" Peter stammered. "It just came off!"

Aadi ran a hand through his hair, trying to calm his nerves. "Okay. Okay. Don't panic. We're fixing this before Mom finds out. Hand me the handle and grab the toolbox. Today, we become the repair team."

Peter nodded, grabbing the toolbox from Aadi's cabinet. Handing it over, he asked, "Are you sure about this? We don't have much experience with repairs."

Aadi inspected the damage. "Doesn't matter. We're not letting Mom see this. Pass me the screwdriver, screws, and measuring tape."

The Great Repair Job

Aadi crouched by the door, carefully examining the damage. "Alright. Peter, your job is to hold the door steady. I mean steady. No shaking. If the door moves, this whole operation fails."

Peter nodded. "Got it. Steady as a rock. I'm like your assistant, huh?"

"Exactly," Aadi replied, pretending to focus entirely on the task. Internally, though, he smirked. Definitely Spider-Man DNA kicking in. Let's see how long it takes him to figure it out.

As he tightened the screws, Aadi muttered under his breath, "Please, Omniverse Gods, don't let Mom walk in. Just this once, let us fix our mess in peace."

Unbeknownst to them, Aunt May was watching through a small gap in the door, stifling a laugh. Folding her arms, she decided to let them handle the situation—for now.

Chaos and Comedy

"Almost done," Aadi said, focusing on tightening the final screw. "Just a few more… And don't let the door wobble!"

"It's not wobbling," Peter protested. "I'm holding it steady!"

Seconds later, Peter sneezed, jolting the door slightly.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Aadi yelled, glaring at him.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? NEVER SNEEZE AGAIN?" Peter shot back.

Aadi groaned but steadied the handle. Finally, with one last twist of the screwdriver, he stepped back and admired their work. "Done. The handle is fixed, and Mom will never know."

Peter relaxed his grip and leaned against the wall, breathing a dramatic sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. We're geniuses!"

"Word of advice," Aadi said, pointing at Peter. "Light pressure. On everything. Doors, chairs, handshakes. Unless you plan to start a second career as a demolition expert."

Peter laughed nervously. "Noted. I'll go take my shower now."

The Moment of Truth

As Peter grabbed his towel, the door creaked open, and Aunt May walked in with her arms crossed. Both boys froze, eyes wide with guilt.

"Well, well," May said, her tone sweet but laced with authority. "Anything you want to tell me?"

Peter stammered, "Uh… Aunt! We fixed the door! See? It's good as new!"

Aadi nodded vigorously. "Yup. Totally under control. Nothing to worry about, Mom."

May raised an eyebrow, inspecting their work. "Fixed, huh? Are you sure this wasn't caused by someone breaking it?"

"It was… kind of loose," Peter admitted sheepishly.

"And technically," May interrupted, her smile fading into a stern glare, "you're grounded if this happens again. But good job fixing it. For now, get ready for school."

As May walked away, Aadi slumped against the wall, muttering, "We survived. Barely."

Morning Reflection

After the chaos, Peter finally managed to shower without breaking anything else. As they headed to school, he said, "You know, Aadi… Something feels off. It's like I'm stronger, faster… but I don't understand why."

"Interesting," Aadi replied casually, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "Maybe you're just growing up. You're a teenager now, Peter. Your body's changing."

Peter tilted his head, frowning slightly. "You think so?"

"Absolutely," Aadi said, suppressing a smirk. He'll figure it out eventually. Better let him connect the dots himself.

As the two headed off to school, neither of them realized just how much their lives were about to change.
