A/N: Who doesn't love a good game of Windtrace? Especially with Kaeya~
Y/n and Kaeya seem to be pretty good friends already. Y/n acts pretty calm.
What do you think, should y/n have a little more "personality" in future chapters?

I stare at the board that promotes the Windtrace event. I'm silent and I seem to be lost in thought. Out the corner of my eye I can see someone looking from over my shoulder.
"Interested?" Kaeya tilts his head, stepping back and crossing his arms with a grin when I turn around.
"Not really. I was just lost in thought." I gave the board one last glance before walking in the other direction. Kaeya did the same, following close behind me.
"Is that so? Well, that's a shame." He sighed dramatically, looking in another direction, as if waiting for me to question him. "I think it would be pretty fun if you joined a game of Windtrace."
"Why is that?" I questioned, although with little interest.
"Because you're fun to be around, of course." Kaeya walked the same pace as me, jogging a little when I walk faster. "Have you changed your mind yet? You'll play it, won't you~?" He's grinning from ear to ear, surely confident in my answer.
"I'll think about it, I guess."
"Great! Let's go then!" Kaeya quickly moves in front of me, in one swift motion, he turns me around and begins to push me towards a Windtrace area.
"Hey, I said that I'll think about it! That was not a 'yes!'" I protested.
"By the time you've fully thought about it, the event will already be over. Trust me on this." Kaeya ignored the rest of my groans as he practically dragged me to the event.
As we stand in line waiting for the next game, Kaeya looks me in the eye, smiling. "You know, you don't have to do anything you don't wanna do. So, do you want to join the game, and have a good time, orrr would you like to be boring, and leave the game? All on you to answer."
"I'm leaving."
"Nope." Kaeya continued to block me from leaving. A few others join the line for the next game. Minutes later, the next game starts, both me and Kaeya received the role of 'hiders,' meaning we have to hide from the 'seeker.'
"Are you ready? Don't be nervous. I'll be right behind you." Kaeya gives me the thumbs up. The hiders are released, and I instantly start walking around. The place that got chosen for this round is Dawn Winery. The sun is almost blinding, and I struggle to look up from the ground for longer than 10 seconds.
"You do know that you don't have to actually follow behind me, right?" I glanced at Kaeya, confirming that he's still wearing that smug expression.
"Why of course I do. I said that I would, and how wrong it would be if I just left a first-timer on their own." Kaeya chuckles as he looks at me, seemingly with no trouble at all. "But, the seeker has just been released about 20 seconds ago. Yet, you still have no hiding spot! So, what will you do now? How will you escape?"
"Are you not playing the game anymore or something? How is it that only I'd get caught, and not you?" More of a rhetorical question, but I couldn't help but to be somewhat curious in his response. Kaeya stares at me for a moment, only smiling, as if that's an answer on its own.
"Y/n, I may consider helping you out if you ask nicely. After all, I do know this place like the back of my hand."
"I'm not falling for your schemes, Kaeya." I scoff "And I don't care if I get caught. You dragged me into this." At this, Kaeya frowned.
"Come on Y/n, don't be such a killjoy. We've only just begun." He gently takes my hand and looks around, alert. My eyes follow his gaze, seeing someone who can only be the one seeking. Their focused on another spot close to us, not having spotted us yet.
Kaeya looks me in the eyes. "Do you trust me?" His whole demeanor is calm, his smile soft. In the moment, I just nod my head. "Good." As he says this, that soft smile lifts into a mischievous grin. "Let's run."
"What?" Despite my confusion, Kaeya's grip on my hand becomes more firm, but not enough to hurt me. We start off by walking in the direction of the winery, then jogging, then near sprinting. I look back to see the seeker chasing after us. They're fully sprinting.
Kaeya's laughing as we continue forward. The wind blowing in our faces, which doesn't seem to be much of a bother. After glancing back at the seeker a couple times, I run a little faster, now I'm the one dragging Kaeya.
"Oh? You want to go faster? Alright, if you insist." Kaeya picked up his speed, taking back his position in front of me. He grins at me. "Hey, I've got a spot we can hide. Trust me." He winks and suddenly takes a turn, pulling me with him. We run to the grape bushes. Kaeya took a mindful look around before crouching behind a bush. "There's enough bushes to hide us for now." He whispers. I crouch down next to him, catching my breath.
"Don't get to comfortable, obviously we aren't hiding here. This isn't my best hiding spot. We just needed to lose the seeker for some time." Kaeya explained. He peeks his head from behind the bushes, looking around. "Let's go." He stands, carefully.
He takes me to a spot behind the Winery. We stand in a corner that's fairly out of view. The seeker would have to look a few times to notice us.
"I used to hide here all the time during hide n seek. Though, the spot does get old after the 5th time hiding here." Kaeya chuckles. I look at him with interest. From what I know, it's rare for Kaeya to talk about his past here at Dawn Winery, especially to me.
"When you used to play, with Diluc and your father...?" Just to confirm.
"The maids always joined in." Kaeya leans against the wall and briefly scouts the area. An announcement plays, informing players that there's 2 minutes left, and that the gift skill power up thingy has been dropped. Kaeya gives me a smirk, "The games almost over. You've done good."
Another surprise. I had expected for him to want to get the Favor in order to throw the seeker off. "Thanks. But I'm pretty sure you've been doing all the work." Kaeya laughs at this.
"Nah, you're fast enough to catch up with me and not slow me down. That's skill in itself." He winks. "But we're not safe yet. It seems that the seeker has obtained the Favor. And... we're the last two remaining."
"Ah, guess we'll have to give up."
"Nah uh, not today, y/n. We didn't come this far just to half-ass it at the very end." Kaeya points his finger up, as if making a point. "Plus, there's only a minute left. We just gotta get ready to run again. We've out ran them once, who's to say we can't do it again?"
"What are you, a motivational speaker..?" I sigh. "Alright, alright. I know I can't deny you." Kaeya takes my hand.
"Let's go. The Favor should be used in just a few seconds..." Kaeya doesn't give me time to respond, and I have no choice but to run with him again.
"Eh?! But we don't even know where the seeker is right now... we could run right into them!"
"Wouldn't that be fun?" Kaeya laughs out loud. I find no point in arguing with him over this. I suppose since he's happy, and I'm enjoying this a lot, there's no problem. Whether we win, or lose.
