Well, this was a fine situation he was in. The sun had set hours ago, the stars had come out in full view, and now their twinkling started to lessen the more the orange on the horizon rose....and still, Azier and his companion sat across from one another in a very awkward position; no further than they had been. Since 'failure' was already apart of his vocabulary, and deeply seeded in his pages of life - he felt he would need another word soon, or he'd roll his eyes at his own chastised self-talks.

The polymorphous lump of dirt hung out of the large tree like some sort of half-tree creature that was cursed to wither in place and die.
