Zephyra sat locked in her room.
That's what her lies had earned her.
Since the spat between her and Azrianna just two night ago, things hadn't been the same. She had been left to sit and think on her actions, even if she still felt as though she were justified. Part of her was a little angry at Dagon and his ideas - but at the end of the day, the warrior knew the blame lay solely on herself.
Even if it had been Dagon's idea - she was the one who had gone through with it.
Now, as the sun made its way into the sky, Zephyra paced back and forth in her bedroom as she waited for news from either her Queen, or the man she wished to be with. What message they came with didn't matter, just as long as one came.
In order to stop the thoughts that raced through her mind, the warrior tried to hone in on the clicks her heels made when they met the stone floor below them. Each contact made a crisp pop that cleared the worry from her head, only for the process to start all over again.
