Luke turned to Morris, who was still standing by. "How many werewolves are there in Knockturn Alley?"
Morris, having just pledged his loyalty, was more than willing to provide information. He knew that Luke's interest in the werewolves was likely tied to his broader plans.
"There are about a dozen werewolves grouped together," Morris said after some thought. "They usually stay in the ruins at the northwest corner of Knockturn Alley. There are also a few who help the purebloods."
"Hmm..." Luke nodded, considering the information.
The werewolves weren't his primary concern at the moment. His immediate focus was on resurrecting Tom. Once Tom was revived, Luke believed that with his talents, managing Knockturn Alley would be straightforward.
With these thoughts in mind, Luke used the system space to store Selwyn, then casually tossed him onto the wooden floor.
"You stay here and make sure he doesn't die," Luke instructed Morris.
"Clear!"
Morris nodded quickly, his face still showing uncontrollable joy. After nearly two years as a werewolf, he never expected to return to his human form today. This meant freedom from his cursed state.
Excitedly, Morris watched Luke's departing figure.
After leaving the dilapidated two-story wooden house, Luke turned the compass on his wrist once more.
He was close to finding Tom's DNA, but this time the compass indicated a general direction: northwest. The specific distance wasn't marked, implying that he needed to search in that direction continuously.
"Missed it..."
Luke shook his head in frustration. He realized he might have to search all over England for something like Tom's hair.
The compass wasn't as straightforward as he hoped. Maybe experimenting with Tom's soul body could help.
Holding the compass, Luke paused to think. After a while, he decided to retrieve the diary from the Kamui space.
Just then, the compass in his hand suddenly rotated halfway, pointing directly at the diary.
"A journal?"
Luke was taken aback.
If the compass was pointing to the diary, it meant there was something in it related to what he needed. Luke examined the diary closely, moving the compass around it. The pointer consistently directed him to the left.
He opened a few pages of the diary. As he approached the first page, Luke discovered a short, curly strand of hair.
"Tom's hair..."
He picked up the strand carefully, realizing that this was exactly what he needed.
He picked up the item and examined it closely, immediately ruling out the possibility that it belonged to Hermione or himself. The first brother had long, curly brown hair, while he had blond hair. Lucius and Ronald were even more unlikely, given that one had light blonde hair and the other had distinctly red hair.
Determining that the diary didn't belong to any of them, he matched the direction of the compass.
"I found you, Tom !" Luke's face lit up with joy. He had feared he might have to search all over England, but the compass led him straight to Tom's location.
Excited, Luke quickly turned and headed back to Morris' hut.
"Master Geralt?" Morris looked at Luke, confused by his sudden return. "Aren't you going out to look for something?"
"I found something. Do you have a basement here?" Luke asked directly.
"Yes, I do," Morris nodded.
"Carry Selwyn into the basement, and I'll join you," Luke instructed with a grin. He was eager to meet Tom soon.
As Morris transported Selwyn into the dusty basement, Luke prepared to clean the area with his wand. But he was stopped by Luke.
"Go upstairs first and stay away from the basement," Luke instructed.
"Yes, Lord Geralt," Morris agreed respectfully before leaving without further questions.
Once the basement was cleared, Luke lit up the dark space with his wand. He placed the unconscious Selwyn in the center of the room and set the diary next to him. After removing the cover of the forbidden spell book, he began the ritual for dirt reincarnation.
With the ritual seal completed, Luke tapped the dusty slate with both hands. The surrounding dust began to swirl around Selwyn's body, and soon, light blue rays, like glowing fireflies, appeared around the notebook. These blue "fireflies" floated in the air before rushing into Selwyn's body.
Are these the souls? Luke wondered, observing the scene through his kaleidoscope writing wheel. He was intrigued by how the soul seemed to manifest.
The dust began to transform Selwyn's appearance—changing his body shape, hair color, and face from the inside out. After about three minutes, a tall and handsome young man with curly hair lay on the floor, seemingly in a deep sleep.
Tom Riddle's charm was evident, explaining why he had attracted so much attention.
As Tom's eyes slowly opened, he looked around in confusion. He recalled falling into a deep sleep in the diary, only to be awakened in a strange place.
A familiar chuckle pierced the silence.
"Tom , be my loyal servant!"
