"Are you stylishly asking me out on a date?" Alisha asked, a playful smile on her face.
Zeriel flicked her nose, whispering, "If you put it that way."
"I object!" Alisha retorted, a teasing glint in her eyes. "You have to officially ask me out in a romantic way. Who asks a lady out in her sick bed inside a hospital?" she explained, rolling her eyes.
"It's all my fault, babe. I'll make it up to you when we return. I'll ask you out in a grand style," Zeriel promised, pecking her forehead.
"Sounds better," Alisha replied, biting her lips. She stared at Zeriel lustfully, grasping his shirt by the neck. Leaning closer, she pecked his lips.
Zeriel, startled by her sudden boldness, set the finished tray of food aside and pulled her closer. "Come here," he whispered, gently tilting his head to place a soft kiss on her lips. Lost in the heated moment, they tasted each other's lips when, unexpectedly, Alisha's mom entered the room without knocking.
