The Eternal Son, hearing Zane's words, was quite confused. He thought it was his first time coming to Earth and he hadn't said anything like that before. So why was Zane reacting like this? It left him utterly perplexed.
"What do you mean by that?"
The Eternal Son asked, looking at Zane in confusion. He didn't understand why Zane would say something like that. What was Zane trying to convey? This left the Eternal Son struggling to understand.
"What I mean is, your whole act is just so outdated. On our Earth, every now and then, some invaders show up. What they say is pretty much the same as what you just said. They come in all pompous, but leave with their tails between their legs. I find it boring myself. Do you think this is interesting?"
Zane said with an exasperated expression, already guessing how the Eternal Son's story would end. He believed the Eternal Son would eventually leave in failure, but what Zane didn't know was how pitifully the Eternal Son would feel when he left.
Hearing Zane's words, the Eternal Son's dissatisfaction grew. He had come to Earth to conquer it, and yet Zane was implying that he didn't have the ability to do so. The Eternal Son found this hard to accept.
"Maybe the people you've mentioned really existed, but I'm definitely not like them. I'm someone who can destroy your Earth, and I can do it easily, effortlessly."
The Eternal Son said confidently as he looked at Zane. These were his true feelings; he had complete faith in his power and believed that with his strength, he could easily destroy Earth.
"Heh, everyone says the same thing. So, why don't you tell me what your actual purpose is for coming to Earth? Though everyone wants to destroy or conquer Earth, each person's reasoning is different, and each reasoning is strange in its own way. I'm curious to hear your reasoning for wanting to conquer Earth."
Zane asked the Eternal Son with curiosity. It was something he wanted to know, because although these invaders all had the same goal, their reasons for doing so were all vastly different. It made Zane wonder: what was the reason for this person's desire?
The Eternal Son, full of confidence in his abilities, believed he could destroy Earth easily. So, he didn't mind talking to Zane about his plans. Even if he spoke a lot of nonsense, he felt it wouldn't matter. In the end, he was sure he could defeat Zane effortlessly and conquer Earth with ease.
"Heh, since you want to know the reason, I'll tell you. So, what do you think my purpose is?"
The Eternal Son said lightly, with unmatched confidence on his face. Zane, seeing this, felt a surge of anger. He thought the Eternal Son was being incredibly arrogant and overconfident, which Zane could not accept.
"Well, go ahead and tell me. Let me see if we can guide you to understand what you're really thinking," Zane responded indifferently. Every invader had their unique thoughts, and Zane found them all intriguing but difficult to understand. He really wanted to know what the Eternal Son's reasoning was.
"Have you ever heard of the Ultimate Universe?"
The Eternal Son asked, looking at Zane. Upon hearing this, Zane was momentarily stunned. How could he have heard of something called the Ultimate Universe? If he had to learn every new term someone created, wouldn't that be exhausting?
"Sorry, I've never heard of the Ultimate Universe. I don't know where you found that term, but I think it's an interesting one."
Zane spoke indifferently, not taking the Eternal Son or his Ultimate Universe seriously in the slightest.
"The Ultimate Universe is the final form of the universe's development. Through calculations, we've found that the core of the universe is located here, on Earth."
The Eternal Son said seriously. After hearing this, Zane felt a strange sense of pride. He never expected these extraterrestrials to think so highly of Earth. It made him happy, because even Zane himself didn't have much faith in Earth, yet these beings saw it in such a positive light. This was a surprising and delightful revelation to him.
"Hahahahaha, I never expected it! Our little Earth is being praised like this, it actually makes me a bit embarrassed."
Zane laughed and said sincerely. He truly felt a little embarrassed. He hadn't realized Earth had such admiration from these aliens. To Zane, Earth wasn't a great place—pollution was terrible, and society and culture were so complex. He never expected that these extraterrestrials would like Earth so much. It was hard for him to accept.
"You're really underestimating your own planet. Your planet holds endless potential. If we can take control of it, we'll have the core of the universe. At that point, the entire universe will be in my hands."
The Eternal Son said confidently. He was filled with self-assurance about his strength and future. He believed that once he controlled Earth, the entire universe would fall under his control. It was an exciting prospect—so exciting that it made him feel almost exhilarated.
"Friend, I suggest you calm down a bit. Have you ever heard of the saying 'there's always someone better' or 'there's always a bigger mountain'?"
Zane said calmly, hoping the Eternal Son would gain some clarity and stop being so foolish. If he remained so naive, it would be quite pitiful.
"So, what you're saying is that there are hidden talents on this Earth? If that's the case, then let them come forward. I'm quite curious to see who on your Earth could stop me."
The Eternal Son said indifferently, with great confidence. He was completely certain of his strength.
