The next morning after sending Charles to school, Grace went with Jace to see Sir Washington.
Stepping into the luxurious foyer of Kingsford Grand Hotel, Grace's mouth opened slightly as she took in the luxurious decor.
Everything about the place screamed wealth and grandeur… from the dark walnut paneling to the gold-accented furnishings, and the subtle scent of aged whiskey and leather.
Although it was broad daylight, there was not much light coming in from outside save for the dim lighting from the ceiling which created an air of mystery around the place.
The entire place was silent, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning and even as they walked, their footsteps were silenced by the thick carpets.
It was an elegant, private space, the kind meant for high-stakes negotiations and discreet conversations… just like the one they were about to have. Grace couldn't help but chuckle to herself.
