Chapter 417 - Chapter 417

After obtaining the World Anchor, Dak did not immediately use it.

Simply possessing a World Anchor was not enough to establish a link—it required the assistance of Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia to create the Link Channel.

Dak patiently watched the Coordination Contest throughout the morning, only taking a break at noon.

However, he had long since reached a level where he could sustain himself without food.

The Power of the Land allowed his body to continuously absorb energy from the earth beneath his feet, making hunger a nonexistent issue for him. He only ate occasionally for the sake of enjoying flavors.

He brought Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia to an open area and then glanced at his own shadow.

In situations like this, Darkrai would typically be present, as he always accompanied Dak when traveling to other worlds, ensuring his safety.

However, Darkrai was still absorbing the power of the Dread Plate, remaining in a deep slumber. Because of this, he was unable to fulfill his usual role.

"Dialga, Palkia, I'll be relying on you both again~"

Dak sighed and turned to the Time-Space Twin Gods beside him.

At his current level, he no longer needed Darkrai's protection.

After nearly four years of growth with the system, his status had changed drastically.

[Dak]

Title: Pokémon Daycare Owner, Master Breeder, Founding Leader of the Pokémon League Abilities: Strength Lv.9, Agility Lv.9, Endurance Lv.9, Breeding Lv.10, Psychic Power Lv.10, Aura Power Lv.10, Viridian Power Lv.10, Earth Power Lv.10, Door-Door Fruit Lv.10, Fire-Water-Wind-Ice Style Ninjutsu Lv.7, Conqueror's Haki Lv.10, Armament Haki Lv.10, Observation Haki Lv.10, Aptitude Detection Pokémon: Nightmare God Darkrai (Gold - Lv.85) Leaf God Sceptile (Orange - Lv.90)

At his current level, Pokémon like Darkrai, Sceptile, Tyranitar, Lapras, and Celebi were no longer able to defeat him.

That's right—at best, they could only fight him to a standstill, because Dak was not the only one progressing.

Even Pokémon that spent most of their time slacking off, like Sceptile and Tyranitar, had perfected their mastery over both Armament and Observation Haki. Tyranitar had even awakened Conqueror's Haki on its own.

Although their levels had not increased, their combat capabilities had grown through other means.

Some of the more proactive Pokémon had even started learning forbidden techniques from the Shinobi World. While most were of little use to them, techniques like Flying Thunder God and Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu were extremely practical.

If he wanted, Dak could use his Pokécoins to enhance his own combat strength—his current balance was enough to reach a level where he could crush Legendary Pokémon with ease.

But there was no need for that.

The few creatures capable of challenging him on Pokémon Island were his own Pokémon partners, meaning that, in practice, Dak was already invincible.

It was better to save the Pokécoins for developing Pokémon Island or preparing for unexpected crises.

For example, if he linked to a world dominated by Immortal Cultivators, he would need to make major investments for his own safety.

Beside him, Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia activated their signature moves—Roar of Time and Spacial Rend.

At the same time, Dak used the World Anchor.

Five different world projections appeared before him.

First Projection

A massive, crystalline lion with wings appeared in the image.

Dak scanned the scene carefully, trying to recognize the world.

A strange lion covered in crystals… He couldn't immediately determine where this was.

At the very least, this wasn't a modern society—a fantasy world or post-apocalyptic setting seemed more likely.

Seeing that he couldn't identify it just from the image, Dak checked the world's name.

[Battle Through the Heavens]

"Huh?"

Dak blinked, then quickly recalled where he had seen this creature before.

It was the Amethyst Winged Lion from the Magical Beast Mountain Range, and based on its state, this seemed to be the point in time when Xiao Yan and Yun Yun had just started fighting it.

Neither the world type nor the timeline suited Dak's plans, so this world was immediately dismissed.

Second Projection

This time, Dak checked the name first.

[Detective Conan]

A modern world.

Instantly discarded.

Third Projection

"Zero no Tsukaima?"

Dak furrowed his brow, searching his memory before recalling this older anime series.

This world was vast, consisting of a massive continent of magic.

Its magic system revolved around four primary elements: Wind, Fire, Earth, and Water—somewhat similar to the Shinobi World, though it lacked comparable combat prowess.

"Low-magic world," Dak muttered.

In truly high-magic settings, even tanks would struggle to break a mage's barrier. But in Zero no Tsukaima, a mere handgun was enough to dominate a magician.

However, one thing Zero no Tsukaima did have was Summoned Familiars, akin to Contracted Beasts or Ninja Summons. This made it highly compatible with Pokémon.

The scene depicted two females—one tall, one short.

The smaller one was the main protagonist, and the taller one was her second sister. Judging by her youthful appearance, this seemed to be before the main storyline began.

Dak nodded.

In terms of world scale, power levels, theme, and timeline, this world was a perfect fit.

If the next two projections didn't reveal a better option, he would link to Zero no Tsukaima.

Fourth Projection

Dak took one glance and immediately recognized it.

[Prison School]

A world that had once shattered his worldview.

Particularly that one woman who tried to make the protagonist drink her urine, and that Vice President who exuded pure lewd energy.

A modern world with no value for him.

Just like Detective Conan, it was instantly discarded.

Fifth Projection

[Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?]

".Hmm."

Dak hesitated.

This world was quite good—large in scale, limited in power levels.

It resembled another SAO.

It featured stats, leveling, skills, guilds, equipment, professions, and dungeon floors.

The major difference was the existence of gods and magic—essentially, SAO with divine elements.

If SAO and this world had appeared together, Dak would have chosen Dungeon without hesitation.

But since he already linked to SAO, the appeal was limited.

He wanted Pokémon Island to remain diverse.

Although Dungeon had its merits, Zero no Tsukaima's magic system was far superior.

Moreover, Zero no Tsukaima had multiple intelligent species—including beast-people, elves, and elemental creatures.

Even its Summoned Familiars could be rebranded as Pokémon without issue.

After comparing both worlds, Dak made his choice.

"Alright, it's you—Zero no Tsukaima. I'll just call it the Magic World from now on."

Stretching, Dak looked at the swirling spatial vortex before him and waved to the gods behind him.

"You've done enough—go have some fun. I'll handle the rest."

With those words, he stepped into the portal.

Before making any major moves, he would explore the world first.

If he encountered something beyond his strength, he could always summon reinforcements.
