Chapter 25 - Arrival in new city

As we took a break during our journey, Joshua wandered off to the nearby river to fetch some water. To our surprise, he stumbled upon a cluster of beautiful flowers growing along the riverbank. With a mischievous grin, he plucked a few and brought them back to show me. Despite their resemblance to jasmine, the fragrance that wafted from them was a delightful blend of roses and other floral scents.

I couldn't help but marvel at the flowers' presence in this area. Normally, these blooms were native to dense and magical forests, often inhabited by mystical creatures like dragons or monsters. Their appearance here, close to the path leading to Granada City in the Oumaya Kingdom, puzzled me. It seemed out of place, yet somehow enchanting.

Although we couldn't unravel the mystery of how these flowers ended up here, I saw an opportunity. In Granada City, such unique and exotic blooms could fetch a good price. With this in mind, I suggested to Joshua that we gather some of the flowers to sell once we reached our destination. It could be a way for us to earn a little extra money to support ourselves on our journey.

we finally arrive to the city the guards on gate hold us and asked where we are heading and reason to visit eric told him about our circumstance then guard lead us to there captain chamber for further investigation. in chamber captain was working over his desk he heard knock on the door he give permission to enter his chamber the guard told about us to captain he took rest from his work in desk and ask about us he even asked about the condition of espona kingdom and number of franc kingdom invading army. we dont konw much about franc soldiers but we told whats going in espona kingdom captain call the messenger and told to send report in capital while give us permission to enter city he order the guard who led us martin to give us survey of city and also give us room in barracks since we are children with no guardian

After finally arriving at the city gates, the guards stopped us and inquired about our destination and the purpose of our visit. Eric explained our circumstances, detailing our journey and the turmoil we had left behind. Satisfied with our explanation, the guard escorted us to the captain's chamber for further investigation.

In the captain's chamber, the atmosphere was solemn as he diligently worked at his desk. Upon hearing the knock on his door, he granted permission for the guard to enter and provide him with information about us. Setting aside his work, he turned his attention to us, asking questions about our background and the situation in the Espona Kingdom. Though we were unsure about the specifics of the Franc soldiers, we shared what we knew about the state of Espona.

The captain, considering our plight, immediately instructed a messenger to send a report to the capital regarding the situation. He then granted us permission to enter the city, understanding the urgency of our situation. Furthermore, he directed the guard, Martin, to provide us with a survey of the city and arranged for accommodations in the barracks, recognizing that we were children without a guardian. It was a relief to know that we would have a place to stay and support as we navigated this unfamiliar city.
