# Chapter 15 Knowledge stealer
As night over came the day Oak could be seen silently moving through the plains rapidly dressed in all black and covered in concoction that completely removed his scent. He reached the gate and completely moved passed the super soldier guards unnoticed. As even though it's not a forest his Nature Transformation still worked well with any type of plants as well as the 400,000 total plants he currently has archived during the two weeks of him kidnapping bandits for his experiments and research. Over the past two weeks.
He then crossed the tops of homes like a ghost quickly getting into the inner area of the town. He was a bit more careful of going past the super commander level nobles of the town but once again the experiments of the human body he went through with the bandits were a great resource when concocting potions and learning how to control his Qi better.
Once he passed them he arrived on top of a roof looking at the town hall which directly underneath it was the archive. He touched the ground and silently used plants to open a human sized whole in the ground and closed it to which he slowly traveled into the archive making sure to avoid any noise. He managed to do this in 10 minutes but a problem appeared.
There was 3 floors and on the first floor there was a guardian a extremely strong super commander he knew that it would take a ridiculous amount of time to put him to sleep silently. So he first started on the third floor. To which there was a decent amount of books 45 to be precise. He didn't open up a whole but silently spread out his Qi and since it was paper and not animal skin he was able to use his immortal root copy the information down. But it took longer then he thought since each of those books were thick like half the thickness of a college text book.
Hours passed silently as he copied while thinking of how to deal with the super commander on the first floor.
'Wait i don't need him to go to sleep I only need to dull his sense enough so that he doesn't detect my Qi. The illusionary leaf and hypnotic lily have some useful effects for this and with my careful cultivation of them and after few other key plants as well as carefully cultivated auxiliary plants it should work.' With those thoughts he went back to furiously copying but he was only able to get a quarter of the books today as he was also running out of blank books. As well as the night was receding from the Nightleaf plant he placed turning gold.
So he silently left the ground and left the town quickly as he left to go back home to the log cabin.
Once there he packed up quite a few things and headed to a more secluded and secure location in the forest. Made a whole underground and built another cabin. To which he planted various plants that made the air and environment more clean and comfortable. Then stored the books in his library. Then went back to the old log cabin and moved everything to his new location. While completely removing all his traces. Cabin gone, underground area gone, the disturbed dirt and plants, everything was gone and fixed.
For the rest of the month he silently copied books as well as cultivating plants for his sense dulling concoction with experiments here and there. He didn't try to pull this when he sensed their town leader there just in case.
In his underground lab room oak could be seen with several colorful liquids floating in the air. Delicately he carefully merged them together as plant of varying species floated up numbering hundreds. They were all slowly melted down and carefully burned certain parts.
Oaks face was sweating heavily as controlling hundreds of plants at the same time was vary taxing. He then slowly merged all the liquids together carefully.
1 minute..3 minutes..5...23..34...46.. after a solid hour of this he finally managed to merge it into a blue liquid with white spots.
'Fuck' Oak collapsed on a wooden chair with some padding. After a 30 minute rest break he went back to his concocting there was a total of 50 vials. Yes he indeed used around 60,000 plants carefully groomed for this one super commander.
The potion came together to form a odorless, tasteless, and clear solution hell it looked like only air was in the bottle.
'Super commander are hard to fucking poison. Luckily this is just to dull his sense to my Qi. I really don't need to first floor books because I got the vital information for the Blood Origin carving cultivation method. But that floor has a wide variety of knowledge from plants, forging, martial techniques, and most importantly countless common blood runes from a myriad of beast's. That's over 500 years of collecting this would heavily help my research.

Oak watched underground as that soup was eaten waiting 5 minutes hew slowly let his Qi inside the library as a test. He quickly found out that it worked as intended then slowly and quietly copied the information into his own. For the next 4 days he managed to copy everything over. While spiking his food.
On the fifth day he already was going to steal another better space ring from one of the inner town nobles. He looked around but there was barely anything good as the good stuff was quite literally on the hands of powerful people. So he went to 3 rival families there and took 3 ring one from each and left evidence pointing toward the other side of this war the one with the protagonist template.
