That was the only word that could come to mind as he locked eyes with Rossette. His face held the expression of a criminal who had just been caught red-handed trying to sneak out of a crime scene.
The pink-haired girl's expression brightened the moment she recognized him. She didn't seem particularly worried about what was happening around her, probably because Magenta was ensuring she didn't have to.
But still, it was strangely concerning.
"Connie! Over here!"
She called out as she waved her hand enthusiastically.
Connie blinked

He thought, but before he could ponder on the possibilities, the sound of something massive breaking loose from above caught his attention.
His eyes darted to see a stone platform, easily weighing a ton detached from the wall and came crashing toward him.
Naturally, for a skilled assassin like Connie, this would have been a cakewalk. Simple parkour would do the trick.
