"What are you worried about?" Ase sat on the couch, stretching her back and sharpening her nails on its leather. Mary had yelled at her several times already and given up. The cat didn't seem to care that much.
Mary sighed, looking at the sizzling pan in front of her with a passive face. Her eyes slowly looked back at the sorry state of her precious couch. "My couch?"
Ase blinked twice and then kept sharpening her nails without a care in the world. "You…" She then looked at Mary, "Worry too much about useless things." She stopped sharpening her nails, licked them, and then her eyes fixed on Mary's back, growing narrower.
"But that's why I can tell… you're worried about something big. Too big that even you can't solve." She jumped out of the couch and approached her, sniffed the pan, and grimaced. She hates vegetables, especially those black egg things.
"How much do you know about human society?" Mary asked as she shook the pan.
