 [ Chapter I (1): "I'M FROM HOGWARTS" ]

 [ "rehPAHroh...!" ]

Felix, or, the mysterious man as many had call him chanted the Mending Charm with the intent to fix the messy office he's in, and to fix the withering materials used to build the said room. Plus the gesture of his moving his wand freely in the air aided him in finally casting the said charm.

The slightly crooked chair, fixed itself. Paperwork that scrambles around the table, arranged themselves based on purpose. The frames filled with memories all over the room, cleaned themselves— the dust eating on itself before ultimately disappearing into nothingness, like they weren't there.

He had done this parlor trick many times, especially to calm down stressed guardians whenever he had to break inside their house. He also does this for his later claim to be more believable, to them that is, because if they don't see magic first hand; then they wouldn't believe.

And lastly because this is the coolest spell he knew of, using it multiple times throughout the day for no reasons at all— causing some (one) of his teaching staff to be annoyed at him.

 But can you really blame him? Months back, he was nothing but a no-maj— someone who can't do magic, and now he can, exceptionally well at that. It's just that he doesn't have that much control over it compared to the other wizards and witches inside Hogwarts;

Compared to them that can turn a small plate into thousands of lions, he is unfocused.

Compared to them that can charm a tree to grow exponentially with ease, he is stupid.

Compared to them that can skillfully fight another magic wielder within breaking a sweat, he is weak.

But that doesn't seem to matter, as he at the very least specializes in a field that they don't... And that is muggle studies— in short the study of anything not related to magic. To them that don't even know how a train works, he is like a genius.

Which is weird, because to him they are the geniuses... That one lady especially, but that is against the point.

He snapped out of his dazed state and looked up, at the matron of the orphanage staring at the now newly cleaned carpet in disbelief; [ "W-what is hap-happening..." ]

 [ "H-how?" ]

 [ "W-what?" ]

 [ "I-is this...?" ]

He watches her stumble before ultimately locking eyes with him, her probably mesmerized by his grimace colored eyes; can't blame her, even Felix isn't still used to it. But whatever, hope she doesn't poke it out; [ "H-how did you do that...?" ] She watches the last piece on the ground retract and go back to the ceiling, with everything finally being renewed as if it wasn't messy before.

Felix who doesn't quite understand what the lady meant, answered back with what he did knows; [ "Hmm... Magic ma'am, and with intent." ]

To him that is a basic answer, having been exposed to magic for months now, and having been decentised from it, treating it like normal instead— like a skill.

To the matron on the other hand a devout religious lady, for more than half a decade couldn't fathom what she just heard... [ "M-magic...?" ] Before ultimately releasing the broom on her hand, the weapon she clutches near her, with it hitting the floor; her face shrouded in disbelief.

[ "And with intent, that's the difficult part of it all." ]

 [ "..." ]

 [ "..." ]

Feeling lightheaded, the matron lost all of her strength before ultimately clutching the walls beside her, to not make her fall that is. The revelation that magic truly exists confounded her, dazed her.

To her who mostly believes in science, magic is the counter opposite of it, something unreal, something that should be fictional, should only be known through the books and stories pass to one another.

And now; she had seen the said magic first-hand, done to her office, with a movement of a stick— a wand, incantation that sounded normal to her— latin.

Not done by old ancient long beard wizards, or even creepy hunched back witches, but instead by someone young, someone she would have easily mistaken as a young teacher of some sort if it were some other scenario— aside from knocking at the orphanage door's at the dead of nigh,, and not as a... Wizard.

 [ "Y-you're a wizard?" ]

 [ "Oh, yes ma'am, I am. How'd you notice?" ]

 [ "W-what do you want f-from us...?" ]

 [ "...?" ]

 [ "You're attention... Ma'am?" ]

Feeling that there's tension in the air, Felix who experienced this many times, due to him having implored the same tactic over-and-over again to preach about his newly established school— Hogwarts that is. He realized that the matron is wary of him.

Now, who would blame the matron for being the way she is? None that is, so Felix tries to explain the situation, like the hundredth times now.

 [ "Oh- n-no, no, no, wait..." ]

[ "I-I'm not here to hurt you ma'am, or the kids— especially the kids." ]

[ "Or anyone at that, period." ]

In still noticing the lady wary of him in his peripheral, who wouldn't? I mean, he did break-in and entered an orphanage; one filled with tons and tons of children, so of course she'll be wary.

Damn it, this is my fault— stupid tactics.

He then thought of a way to calm her down, and thought of something as he tapped his wand on a pen lying by the side of the desk— lacing his wand with intent, it then turned the said pen into a basic-looking tea cup in front of his and her eyes.

Tap it again, then it multiplied into two; one for the lovely lady who's worried about her safety, and one for the weirdo who thought this was the best approach into gaining her trust.

 His fault...

He should have first used owls to deliver the students Acceptance Letters, and then went house visiting probably a day or two after they received it, preferably on a sunny day— but due to his impatientness, he resorted to visiting houses 24/7 all throughout the world, no discrimination, just whoever the quill wrote is fair game.

But he didn't do that, and now he has a lady probably hyperventilating due to his sudden appearance. Now, how does he explain the rest of his story without causing her to faint, or worse of it all, have a heart attack.

[ "Let's uhhh- start from the top, like what I would have said earlier before you closed the door in front of my face." ]

 [ "Good evening to you ma'am." ]

[ "I'm Headmaster Felix Harp, and I'm from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry— a private institution that gives children to master their innate talents relating to magic." ]

[ "I am especially here to offer a 7-year scholarship to two of your promising children in the orphanage..." ]

[ "Free food— thrice a day, free boarding, free broom, free wand, free uniform, free pets, free cauldron, free everything they'll need for their 7-year studies." ]

 [ "..." ]

 [ "..." ]

 [ "..." ]

 [ "Ma'am, are you alright...?" ]

 [ THUD ]

[ "Anddddd, she fainted... Great." ]

If Felix had a nickel for anytime someone fainted in front of him, due to him explaining his true intentions, then he would have probably had around 6 knickle by now.

Which isn't a lot, but it is weird it happened 6 times.
