It felt mesmerizing to Rhett. On his knees, breathing hard, looking downwards, he smiled, just for a short while and stood up, his hands wide open in the air, raising it up.
The surviving dragon slayers looked at him and they could only bow, their eyes gleaming in awe. Ash and Haicor ran over to where he was and stared at him in the face.
"Damn!", Ash exclaimed. "You're powerful!".
And then he faced the crowd, bracing himself to do a compulsory act. Something he had been doing since, anytime Rhett found victory. It wasn't too often but it was on occasions that called for one.
"ALL HAIL KING RHETT, KING OF THE DRAGON SLAYERS!".
The crowd echoed:
