Nicholas rolled his eyes at her. "You're getting on my nerves badly. What makes you feel like you're on top of the world? You know you can't continue to act tough forever. Your wings will definitely come down."
She rolled her eyes. "Are you jealous now that I'm rich? Maybe richer than you?"
She smirked. "I know you never expected to see me looking this good. You thought I'd come back miserable, but guess what? I made it in life. No one can stop me now. Not even you, Nicholas."
"Let's see how far this attitude takes you. I'll be here when it finally ends," Nicholas shot back at her.
Amber frowned. "You're nothing, Nicholas. You're nothing before me. You can be mean to others, but not to me. I'm not that stupid and gullible Amber you used to know. This is a different Amber speaking to you."
He shrugged. "It doesn't matter. It's a matter of time." Emily looked at Xavier for help, trying to stop them before they threw things at each other.
