Uchiha Gen smiled and said, "It's nothing major. You must have heard about the Spiritual Seal, right? Just let me plant one on you to ensure you don't reveal any secrets."
He grinned slyly. "So... will you agree willingly, or after I beat you into submission?"
"..."
Kurama stared at him blankly.
What the hell... Do I even have a choice?
"Fine! I agree!" Kurama barked.
He didn't hesitate. No way was he giving this Uchiha brat a chance to rough him up. That kid was dangerous.
"Shame!"
Uchiha Gen sighed dramatically, looking genuinely disappointed. Kurama's eye twitched, and he quickly stuck his head out.
"Come on! Get it over with! Don't waste my time — I've got manga to read."
"Tsk tsk!"
Uchiha Gen couldn't help but chuckle at the fox's antics. Without delay, he planted the Spiritual Seal on Kurama and withdrew his consciousness.
"Phew... Finally gone!"
As soon as Gen left, Kurama let out a deep sigh of relief. Without hesitation, he sealed the gap in the barrier, muttering to himself,
"I don't care what's happening outside — I just want my snacks and manga!"
In no time, Kurama was curled up, flipping through manga with his paws, sipping on his chakra-made soda, and munching on spiritual potato chips.
Outside the seal, Uchiha Gen shook his head with a chuckle.
"This fox... he's really turned into a lazy bum."
That evening, Uchiha Gen walked with Uchiha Mikoto through the quieter streets of Konoha.
"It's gotten a lot quieter around here," Mikoto murmured, noticing the empty roads and subdued atmosphere.
"Yeah," Gen agreed. "Most of the village's shinobi have been sent to the front lines. The whole village feels... off. And with this war dragging on, I doubt things will return to normal anytime soon."
Mikoto sighed. "If this continues... how many of our people will even come back?"
Her expression darkened. Too many of their clan had already lost their lives.
"Don't worry," Gen reassured her, taking her hand. "We've done everything we can to protect our family. Some things are just... out of our control."
The next morning, Gen accompanied Mikoto to the village gates, watching her leave with her squad to deliver supplies to the Mist front lines.
As he turned to head home, he spotted a familiar figure.
"Kakashi? What are you doing here?" Gen called out.
Kakashi turned, looking a little surprised. "Oh, hey. Just sending off someone I know. And... well, I asked someone to deliver a letter to my dad on the front lines."
He glanced at Gen with mild annoyance. "On the other hand, you never show up at school. Are you even still a student?"
"Of course!" Gen grinned. "I send my Shadow Clone every day. Why bother wasting time at school when I can train elsewhere?"
Kakashi sighed. "If you're so set on training, why not just graduate early?"
Gen chuckled. "Graduating early? In the middle of a war? No thanks. They'd probably send me straight to the battlefield. I'd rather stay in school and keep my head down."
Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "So you're just hiding out?"
"Exactly!" Gen grinned. "Besides, graduating early just means you'll end up on the front lines faster. Why risk it?"
"Well," Kakashi said firmly, "I'm not like you. I've learned all I can from the academy. I need real experience — real missions. So I'm graduating early."
"Does your dad know about this?" Gen asked, frowning. "He's not going to be happy."
Kakashi smirked. "That's what the letter's for."
Gen sighed. "You're crazy."
A few days later, news spread throughout the village: Kakashi Hatake had graduated early at just five years old.
The village buzzed with excitement — the son of the legendary White Fang had become the youngest ninja to graduate in Konoha's history.
When Gen returned home that evening, his mother, Uchiha Mei, greeted him with a worried expression.
"Xuan, you're not thinking about graduating early too, are you?" she asked.
"Not a chance!" Gen laughed. "Why would I rush into danger when I can stay in school and train at my own pace?"
Mei breathed a sigh of relief. "Good. I don't want you going anywhere near the front lines."
"Don't worry," Gen assured her. "I've given Dad, Big Bro, and Mikoto plenty of Death Talismans and Teleportation Talismans. They'll be fine."
"But if something serious happens..." Gen paused, "I'll know — and I'll step in."
Uchiha Mei smiled softly. "You're such a good son."
Seven Days Later...
[You have studied the Mizunazuki Clan's bloodline and Ice Release abilities in detail. After deep research, you have created the Ice Release Cultivation Method.]
[Ice Release Cultivation Method]: Through cultivation, one can master the power of Ice Release. Practicing to perfection can transform Ice Release into a Bloodline Limit that can be passed on to future generations.
Later that day, Gen teleported to a remote mountain forest outside Konoha to test his new technique.
"Ice Release: Thousand Rain!"
Hundreds of ice needles shot forward, puncturing trees, shattering branches, and freezing the ground.
"Not bad... but still not powerful enough." Gen muttered.
Over the next week, Gen continued refining the Ice Release technique, creating new jutsu:
Ice Release: Frozen Tide — A massive wave of ice that freezes everything in its path.
Ice Release: Frost Spikes — Sharp ice pillars that erupt from the ground.
Ice Release: Frost Armor — An icy layer that coats the body, enhancing defense.
Still, Gen knew this was just the beginning.
"I need to push Ice Release to the next level..."
One night, after hours of research, Gen finally had a breakthrough:
[You have created the Ice Release Bloodline Purification Method.]
[Ice Release Bloodline Purification]: A technique that purifies and strengthens the Ice Release bloodline, enhancing its power and versatility.
"Phew... finally," Gen muttered, satisfied.
Now, his Ice Release had reached new heights — more powerful than the original Mizunazuki Clan's abilities.
But Gen wasn't finished yet.
"I need to develop a method to merge my various bloodlines... otherwise, I'll spend all my time maintaining them."
Determined, Gen summoned his supernatural clone.
"This is for you," Gen said, transferring the Ice Release abilities to his clone.
The clone's eyes widened. "This... is amazing!"
"Don't waste it," Gen warned. "I'm counting on you."
The clone grinned. "Relax... Mist Shinobi won't know what hit them."
As Gen teleported away, the clone chuckled to himself.
"With this new power... things are going to get interesting."
