"What?" Adam realized what he had just said.
Did he just confess, or was that a mere declaration of admiration? Raven asked herself, her heart pounding.
"Uh… thank you?" Raven said a little nervously. "We gotta get ready. I've warned Dante he's next and I'm coming for him."

As the car drove home, Dante Perez didn't know how to feel. Was he to be fuming with rage or panicking?
