Dante didn't like the mien of his wife. He had expected her to be understanding and less judgy… but here she was, with that expression on her face.
"Babe… are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
"Well… yeah… I… I uh…" She stumbled for the right word, "I'm just… shocked. I mean… you did that?"
She still didn't even believe it.
"I know what I did was wrong, and nothing I ever say will rectify my mistakes, but I really regret what I did. It was so horrible of me."
"So that lady had a good for murdering all those people."
"What?"
"I mean… she was sexually assaulted, her mother and younger sibling died. If I went through that I don't think I'd still have the will to live." Tasha said slowly.
"Wait… are you seriously supporting her?" Dante asked, surprised, "She's a murderer."
"And whose fault is that?" Tasha retorted.
"Seriously? Tasha, this girl is a murderer, currently wanted by both the police and the FBI. Even if she had to go through what she did, nothing ever justifies murder."
