Oscar was surprised and he asked:
"Why?"
Anna stared at him and chuckled.
"You do not need to know why and that is because, there's no reason for you to know it."
Oscar was suddenly hurt by that statement and somehow, he had concealed it, that did not show in his expression he was hurt, but Anna knows because she saw the way his jaw locked and fist tightens.
Anna made her way into the house but Oscar's voice caused her to halt once more.
"There's someone in the house that you wouldn't like to meet."
Anna turned, her round grey eyes fixated on him.
"Who?"
Oscar smirked and he did not hesitate to answer that question of hers.
"Carlos' fiancee, Emily."
