The chamber dissolved into nothingness. The warriors found themselves standing on a vast, empty battlefield, illuminated by an eerie silver glow. The air was heavy—not with hostility, but with something far more unsettling.
Regret.
Before them stood figures long thought lost. Fallen warriors. Brothers-in-arms who had perished in battle. Some had died heroically, others in disgrace. Yet, here they were, standing once more—eyes vacant, their bodies bound by an unseen force.
"This isn't real," Shadow Fang muttered, clenching his fists. "They're gone."
But Infinity God felt it—an unmistakable presence. "No… It is real."
A familiar voice echoed through the silence.
"You left us behind."
From the center of the fallen warriors, a lone figure stepped forward. His aura flickered between light and shadow, a mixture of life and death. His gaze locked onto Infinity God.
It was Eon Zephyr.
A warrior who had once stood at their side. A warrior who had died trying to protect the balance of the cosmos. His expression was not one of hatred, but of deep sorrow.
"We fought together," Eon said, his voice a whisper against the wind. "We bled together. And yet… you moved forward, while we remained forgotten."
Galaxy God's expression darkened. "We didn't forget."
"Then why did you never return for us?"
The Faceless Entity's voice rang out. "This is your final test. Face your past, or be consumed by it."
The Battle of the Past
The fallen warriors attacked.
Infinity God barely had time to react as Eon lunged at him, his blade glowing with celestial energy. Their swords clashed, sending sparks flying.
Shadow Fang found himself face to face with an old comrade—one he had sworn to protect but had failed to save. "I… I won't fight you!" he shouted. But the fallen warrior struck without hesitation, forcing him to defend himself.
Galaxy God unleashed a burst of gravitational force, knocking back three opponents at once. "This isn't them!" he growled. "They're being controlled!"
Aurora Yoichi stood motionless, his golden eyes scanning the battlefield. "No," he whispered. "This is not control. This is pain given form."
Infinity God vs. Eon Zephyr
Their battle raged, neither holding back. But Infinity God could feel it—Eon was hesitating.
"If you blame me… then why don't you kill me?" Infinity God demanded.
Eon's eyes flickered with emotion. "Because deep down… I know it wasn't your fault."
The Faceless Entity's voice rang out. "Then why do you fight?"
Eon hesitated. His sword wavered. And in that moment, the illusion shattered.
One by one, the fallen warriors faded into dust. Their pain, their regrets, their lingering presence… all released.
The battlefield disappeared. The warriors were left standing in a vast, empty space.
The Faceless Entity's form shifted, its voice softer now. "You have passed."
The Truth Revealed
A portal opened before them, revealing a new path—one leading to a place beyond time itself.
Infinity God exhaled. "So this was never about defeating an enemy."
The Faceless Entity nodded. "No. It was about accepting the past… and proving you are worthy of facing the future."
Galaxy God smirked. "Then what's next?"
The Faceless Entity slowly raised its hand.
"Now… you face the true purpose of the Infinity Door."
The portal flared with blinding light.
And the warriors stepped through.
