"Um… I move around a lot when I sleep… If it's too small, I end up falling off," Gavi admitted, fidgeting in embarrassment.
Vaelrik laughed.
That made sense.
He remembered the times Gavi had stayed over at his house—he'd been kicked out of bed more than once.
"You never grew out of that, huh?"
"I can't help it."
"Well, if we ever have kids, we'll have to sleep in separate rooms for a while."
"What?!"
"If you end up kicking me in my sleep, it'd be dangerous, wouldn't it?"
Gavi's face turned bright red.
Then, in a small voice, he muttered, "I'll try to fix it…"
The thought that Gavi wanted to sleep next to him that badly made Vaelrik feel both amused and a little flustered.
They decided to take a bath first.
The hot spring water was amazing, and Vaelrik ended up soaking for longer than intended.
Gavi, on the other hand, turned red almost immediately, but he refused to get out.
Eventually, Vaelrik had to coax him out, worried he'd overheat.
