A couple moons after Skylar arrived here at fallen teastament. Here on the center surface of the black rock, he is seated contemplatively behind Goldie who is looking at the glowing multicolored cloud above them.
I have to start preparing to leave here. The bird that i came here to find has either been captured or his not coming back anytime soon. Maybe i should wait a bit more. No, that's not wise. I am wasting a lot of time waiting for something that's not guaranteed...
He broke his contemplation and turn to face the stargazing bird. "Goldie, i may have to leave the next moon..."
After his announcement, silence seized the atmosphere between them for a couple seconds.
"I came here because someone told me about a bird that should help me shorten my journey. And now that i can't find the bird and i am not sure if it will ever return here, i will have to look for an alternative somewhere else..." He explained, then made eye contact with the bird that has now turned around to face him.
"Goldie will you follow me?" With a solem expression he waited for a reply. But after he and the bird that has never gave an answer to any of his question once, stare at one another for about half a minute, he sighed, stood up, then walked away from the bird towards the center where two stone platforms like a bed are placed side by side, one big and one small.
After he reached the stone platforms covered with something like hay, he slumped on the big one. And with his side lying on the platform he looked briefly to the horizon accomodating countless stars, and shortly after, he closed his eyes, definitely in a bid to succumb to sleep.
Skylar did sleep off, and also the bird on the other platform beside him that has arrived there at one point in time, but not long after they drifted into sleep, he suddenly opened his eyes that narrowed instantly along his face that scrunched up into a frown.
I don't like this...
After a few seconds of contemplation, Skylar left the platform quietly and arrived at the edge of one of the eight surfaces surrounding the one at the center is the platform he left. Then standing on the edge overlooking the base of the mountain, he saw several creatures made their way up the mountain and surround the base of the black rock where he and the bird set base.
"Black skin, an average height of twelve meters, long limbs, red stripy tattoos,very long face, long and pointed ears, dark-red eyes, a physique of rubber... I have no idea what this guys are" With his eyes glowing green due to natural energy he imbued in them to boost his vision, he examines the intruders arriving in large numbers. Then he turned to face Goldie who has arrived at one point beside him. "Do you have any idea who they are."
But Goldie ignored him as he continue to look down expressionessly at the intruders.
Iknew this guy was never gonna answer me...
Skylar thought, then stood straight up from his squatting position and look at the horizon where the intruders are coming from.
He squinted his eyes looking at the horizon and when he did, a spot in his brow like a vertical eye turned green and the view of the world he saw changed.
The world he saw turned monochrome- space turned into white and objects and human bodies becomes black, just like an infrared image. obscure energy flow in the world and in creatures just like the intruder he focuses on become visible by their colors. In short, with 'spirit vision' Skylar analyzed his foes whose brightly glowing aura they emit outline their colorless spirit which hold their unique astral energy chart that is lit up dimly by the colorful energy flowing in them and which also tell a lot about them and their calibre.
Let's see... Who is the big boss...
Then about some minutes later, his activated third eye shifted its focus to a being leading the intruders and who is positioned behind them as he watch them encircle the black rock.
"That guy his super super strong!" Skylar exclaimed at the sight of the being with an intense aura that dominates his surrounding completely and a brightly glowing golden colored energy that flows vigorously along the channels of his astral chart which therefore confirms his ridiculous calibre.
"Hmm." Suddenly and quickly, he shut off his third eye thereby exiting spirit vision when two glowing balls located where the being's eye should be turned to his direction with an increased intensity.
"Goldie, this is very bad." Quickly after getting caught by the insanely strong being and with urgency in his voice, Skylar turned to face his partner. "We have to find a way out of here very fast. There is a beast among the guys below."
Panicking a bit, he put one of his folded hands on his chin and starts to pace back and forth.
Then after this, he turned to his partner who has been watching him and the intruders below alternatively, and then his face furrowed when he made eye contact with the bird, and with a deep voice he called.
"Goldie..." With a furrowed face and a deep voice he called. He relaxed his expression, took a deep breath and in a softer voice he spoke. "I know you can fly. So this is what will happen, you fly away now and i will find another way out of here when you are gone."
But with a nod Goldie disagreed vehemently and this made Skylar express his exasperation by rubbing his brow with his palm which he followed with a deep sigh.
This guy, what the hell is going on in that bird brain of his..
After another careful and thoughtful look at the one mita tall stubborn bird, Skylar moved closer to the edge of the surface to check on the progress of the enemy below.
"Who knows what they really want." He muttered then turn to the stubborn bird that has drawn closer to him. "Don't tell me they are coming for you." He shook is head to the sides and look vacantly ahead. there is definitely no way. There are too many of them to have come for just one useless bird...
Meanwhile, on the mountain, at the base of the black rock; the very tall and very long humanoid creatures with black skin and a blood red tattoo finally completely surrounded the gigantic and enormous black rock on top of which Skylar and Goldie looks from. Then their leader, the shortest among them with only him having a golden tattoo and golden eyes raised his hand as a signal which in turn made all of them leap simultabeiusly into the air and towards the sides of the black rock.
(Tum... Tum... Tum...)
Like a ping pong ball falling down a stair, but upward in this case, the black rubber-like creatures with their feet on the side of the rock generating an upward force that aid their repeated leaping into the air, scale up the rock from all sides and towards the top of the rock where Skylar and Goldie is.
"Goldie are you going to fly away or not before i throw you down" Skylar holding out the stubborn bird midair and away from the rock's edge as he stands on it, threatens.
"You..." At Goldie's irresponsiveness, Skylar expression turned into that of anger briefly, then he calmed himself and put on a persuasive expression. "Goldie you see, i don't understand why this guy are here. But i can say with absolute certainty, they are hostile and if they reach here its game over for both of us. So, please fly away now."
The bird remained unresponsive after his persuasive speech and in defeat, he dropped the bird gently beside him and return his attention to the leaping assailants coming for them or him with intense ferocity.
"..." (Sigh) When he saw there progress, he sighed, then after a look of resignation appeared on his face he once again grabbed the irresponsive stubborn bird. And With the stubborn bird tightly held close to his chest, his speeding and blurry figure move towards the center surface where there makeshift camp is, and after a jump across, they landed on it.
Upon reaching the center surface while still holding the bird, Skylar went to their stone closet and retrieved his sack which he then hang on his back and not wasting time his speeding and blurry figure once again landed on another surface, one directly opposite the previous surface, where he saw the insanely strong guy.
"We shouldn't be too close to that dangerous guy" Skylar muttered as he dropped Goldie. Then he went to the edge of the new surface.
After he reached the edge and after he saw the progress of the long rubber guys climbing up towards them, a green spiritual glow emanate from him and cover a part of the surface where he was and the side of the rock just below the edge he stands. Then just some seconds after this, ten meter tall golems numbering about twenty rose from the edge of the surface, and three contraptions like a turret projected from the side of the mountain, just below the edge.
This should do...
Like trained soldeiers, the golems took their positions on the edge beside Skylar and the turrets after their creation starts firing stone bullets down the rock at the intruders climbing it.

Goldie behind Skylar as usual watch everything expressionelessly and still remain unresponsive to their dire situation.

For the long rubber men below, some of them were hit and fell to the depth below, some were hit but still continue the leap up the rock, some dodged the stone bullets and the rest were lucky to have not been targeted. And like this they scale up the mountain amidst fired stone bullets.
About some minutes after the firing of the turrets that has been delaying the ascent of the intruders at the edge where Goldie and Skylar is and at the other edge of the other surfaces, the intruders like fish jumping out of water starts to descend on them orderly. Their long and tall stature with their blood-red stripy tattoo at the left side of their body quiet intimidating to the view.
The intruders on the surface after their landing focus their attention on the human figure at the other side who has been discharging a bright green glow that has not reduced in intensity since they felt it and has been responsible for the death and delay of their comrade at that side of the rock.
But not long after, some of them charged at him, at the surface where he us specifically, and from the hands of the others holding the rear, a dangerous looking blood-red spear of light formed gradually from the energy they gathered on it while their tattoo glow in accordance. And this spears like missile, they launched it at him, their speed as they fly above the others that are drawing closer to the surface where he is way faster than the speed of the stone bullets.
This is kind of hopeless... Skylar looked behind him at the golems that has stood in front of them as a shield at one point, get decimated by the rain of spears coming for him in particular, until all of them in a very loud explosion perish together.
(Boom..., Boom....)
Next, and after a sigh he clenched his fist tightly and around it an intense energy wave that distort and fry the air around it wrapped it in a swirl.
(Whoosh.... Wind howling)
At the sight of Skylar clenched fist radiating energy that lit up its surrounding, suffocate the air and threatening to drag space around it as it collapsed the air into a vortex, the long rubber creatures charging at them stopped hesitantly and apprehension colored there long humanoid faces.
Meanwhile at the bottom of the mountain, their leader, the shortest among them looked up after he felt Skylar's spiritual pressure that has been dominating the top of the rock spill down from it.
Next and in instant his figure vanished.
Skylar, about to lunch his fist forward at his foes standing on the edge of the center surface raised his head, and midair above the edge of the surface where they first saw the creatures, he saw the dangerous guy appeared suddenly like a ghost, and before he could react to the golden spear that appeared instantly in the guy's hand, a large hole appeared on his shoulder and not his heart thanks to the instinctive reaction of his body.
Shit...
(Click "Why bother.") He heard this voice from the dangerous guy who has appeared suddenly again like a ghost a couple mitas from them. And quickly, while ignoring the pain coming from the hole on his shoulder that refused to close, he dashed to the side and grabbed Goldie who has been watching the situation with meaning in his eyes. And wiith Goldie held tightly to his chest with his right hand, he dragged himself to the edge of the surface away from the dangerous guy, blood trailing them.
"The idiot asked why bother..." (Chuckle) He move like in a drama- a blue ray of light from the keeper of time that manage at this time to pierce the sky that has turned dark when the dangerous guy appeared, highlighted his bloody and backpedaling figure.
"Goldie, hold tight" Locking eyes with the dangerous guy and watching him approach leisurely he gathered energy under his feet and with it, he launched himself off the edge of the rock, into the air.
Checkmate... Skykar together with Goldie craddled on his chest smiled at the dangerous guy as he moved midair and far away from the black rock like a launched missile.
"What!" Suddenly his smile frozed as he saw a golden light coming from the dangerous guy instantly bury the world and his view. Next he heard a piercing ringing sound took over and distort the air of this region to the next. And where the dangerous guy should be, he felt an energy like that of the sun gather there like its been waiting for its master.
(Continuous piercing ring)
"That's a spear right." He muttered and before he could confirm with his extrasensory perception, he saw in the golden world, a light more golden than it, blink in their direction while the ringing sound dominating the region increase several times in pitch and decibels.
"So cold. Wait, white ball. Goldie... white cloud, big black wings..." His view turned white, he mummured, then as energies clashed above him and three distinct mighty presence collide, his world slip into darkness, and due to blood loss, he passed out.
