Next to the mouth of a cave from which a dim light of wine color barges in, two shadows flickers.
Below the roof of the cave, carpeted by a vegetation of blue crystalline weeds, a golden flame blaze arrogantly,
And by the side of a pool of blue frozen water, still and watching quietly in a corner in the cave, the bones of a creature lay.
The two figures with the flickering shadows, probably responsible for the existence of the bones converse unconventionally as they chew on meat gotten from the flame like savages.
"Guy, when are you goung to tell me about that matter." One of the shadows voice echoed in the mind of the other. "Its not like its something you have to hide from me." The voice added.
The other and shorter shadow flickers. "I forgot and its not that important. You know." This voice from the shorter shadow which is that of a young boy, paused briefly in the mind of the other tall shadow, then it continued. "And shouldn't you be thinking on what you plan to do next. You know"
A man and a bird sit in front of a brightly burning flame, dining, at the mouth of a cave of height about twenty five times the height of an average man that is littered by short conical hills that block the view of the other side which is outside of it.
Skylar the man look beside him at his historical sack then at the bird beside him. He is clearly hiding something. How was he able to retrieve my sack if we say we were able to get away from that guy by a fluke after i passed out. From the flame he pulled out a steak and draw it closer to his mouth. Its no problem though, as long as we are save.

"Let's go" After their short break from their long journey Skylar standing on his feet picked up his sack as the brightly burning flame sink into the ground of grainy blue crystals also littered with ice crystals in the shape and size of a tennis ball, and which buried the flame completely, thereby killing it off.
Not far from Skylar, Goldie standing on his strong golden legs brush his stretched pitch black wings with his golden beak, then after this his one mita tall frame flew out of the cave with great speed, bypassing the crystal hills on the extra extended lower jaw of the cave's mouth with flair.
Skylar at another side and after some seconds, put his sack on his back and leisurely leave the cave, also passing through the blue crystal hills on the way. And not long after he arrived the edge of the cave's mouth overlooking a sea of wine colored clouds which is accommodating a gigantic earthly star almost totally submerged in it and that emit a cool wine colored light that animates its fantastical reach in all direction. Then Skylar standing on the edge and after a few seconds on it, jumped down below towards the sea of clouds, and before his diving figure could get closer to it, like a leaf landing on the ground he landed on the back of a large version of Goldie of about ten meters in height as it emerge from the depth of the cloud sea with both wings fully stretched and never flapping once.
"There is a place i want to go. Its in the northern direction." Standing on Goldie's back, Skylar pointed to the side at a specific direction which Goldie in turn set as the next target.
(High pitched whistling)
Still maintaining the posture of his wings and after he cried out, Goldie turned to that direction like the moving hand of an analog speedometer, and in that direction, Goldie tilted upwards with Skylar standing rooted on his back, starts to accelerate gradually above the sea of clouds until suddenly it turns into a black blur with a white pointed head and a white trail like that of a jet moving at supersonic speed and like an arrow it pierced through several layers of clouds in seconds.
(" Yahoooo..." Boom, Boom.... )
Skylar, standing on Goldie's back and wrapped in layers of natural energy that keeps away the hostile wind slamming on his body, shouted with energy that create a sound wave moving in the forward direction and that competes with the sonic booms behind them as they go from one cloud layers to the other.
"Your speed this time is about mach twelve." Skylar who is no longer shouting informed his partner, Goldie, after they pierced through a rose colored cloud, swerved around a very big red earthly star, and dived into a cloud layer that's not illuminated and hence very dark and cold like empty space.
"What's mach twenty" Goldie with his golden eyes glowing brightly in the dark clouds asked, after which he flapped it wings once which resulted in its speed increasing considerably as it flew through the dark clouds.
"One mach is like moving one tor in three breadths." Skylar gestured in the air at the holograohic 3D map of his status window, which is not affected by the incredible speed at which they travel, and is perfectly displayed in front of him.
"How do you know how fast i move." Goldie's voice echoed in Skylar's mind, then his figure emerged from a second layer of cloud after the very dark cloud. And then it decelerated rapidly, return its angle of inclination to zero- position parallel to the earth, and then resume its travel but this time at relatively slow speed.
After all this, Skylar proceeded to sit on Goldie's back in a lotus position. "I have this invisible map that helps me calculate distances and you wouldn't understand how it works..." With a finger each on both hands he drew out an invisible line mid air. "So, don't ask me."

After several minutes, they reached a sky garden of crystal plants and trees situated on a gray wispy layer of clouds.
Goldie continue his gliding travel over the fantastical garden of crystal giant vegetation that for some reason did not draw their attention since they have seen many like it previously on their journey. And not long after they left the crystal garden, they appeared in front of an endless wall of clouds like a rain cloud infested with thick bolts of yellow lighting and having through it a couple tunnels that leads to the other side behind it.
This world is really something else. Skylar who beheld the cloud wall stood up then stretched his muscles as Goldie slows down to a halt a few kilometers away from the cataclysmic cloud wall.
"Is it dangerous." He asked his partner, Goldie.
"Impossible. You know." Goldie flapped his wings severally, and in turn it generated a field of ether current that formed a spherical barrier around him including Skylar who is standing straight on his back.
"Hang on. You know." Like a spinning top Goldie's figure starts to spin along his spine and beak that are fixed in space. Then his figure that looks like a spinning funnel with a sharp pointed mouth as it now spins at an incredible speed, positioned itself, facing the direction of the mouth of one of the few large tunnels in the cataclysmic cloud wall that links to the other side.
(Swish...., Boom, Boom...)
In a split second, rings of visible air pressure wave that decrease in diameter sequentially towards the tunnel appeared in the space between the first of it kind and the tunnel's mouth the moment their figure like a phantom appeared suddenly in the middle of the scary tunnel.
"You..." The moment they appeared in the tunnel of clouds rimmed by yellow lightning bolts and all happening in an instant, Skylar's face furrowed, his green eyes turned crimson, and his leisurely presence turned suffocatingly dark.
"Do not test me." Like a god above the firmament, his voice echoed in all corners of the seemingly infinite wall of calamitous clouds, and the intents it carries immediately made the yellow lightning bolts that has encased them at some unknown point, retreat fearfully.
Meanwhile, they appeared at the other side of the wall of calamitous clouds.
"What was that?" Goldie who hang in space below a gigantic purple earthly star- ten times the size of the moon, after they exit the wall of clouds behind them projected his voice to Skylar's mind as usual.
"Just one stupid storm elemental." Skylar sat down, his eyes on the ruin that lay in front and suspended below them over a sea of wispy purple cloud.
The ruin, a sky city of giants encircled by a gigantic circular wall, has gigantic buildings of exotic architecture constructed from a silver material, lots of humanoid pitch-black giant statue and a coral-like purple vegetation that has almost overwhelmed it.
"How do you think this city got here?" Goldie's eyes reflected the stone steps suspended in space and that leads to the ancient and enormous gate of the city.
"I have no idea..." Skylar answered, his eyes never leaving a fully armored giant figure holding something like a mace in both hands and standing with an invincible presence in front of the city's gate. "And there is this possibility it was built here."
"No, they are always built below on the surface before they are suspended above like this. But this one shouldn't be here. You know" Goldie informed, his eyes also on the only figure standing outside the city gate- the fully armored giant figure. Then after some time, his figure resume its travel, which is now in the direction of the ruin and above it.
"I am sure this statues are frozen bodies of some creature." Skylar looked below them with spiritual vision at the populace that are frozen in place and in random positions like they did not expect the freezing when it happened.
"You mean they were organic before they were turn to stones?" Goldie flying slowly over the ruin city transmitted his voice to Skylar, who is on his back and who has been looking down below at the ruin.
Then Skylar who is apparently focused on something else put a hand on his chin and transmitted his voice to Goldie. "That guy in front of the gate might be alive"
"No way!" Suddenly Goldie recoiled and he quickly increase their altitude over the ruin.
"Relax, its in hibernation and its not just going to attack us if it wakes up" Skylar reassured, petting the black feather on Goldie's back.
Maybe that wall of cloud and the storm elemental are put there to protect this city... Skylar smiled, looked down below at the city once again, then frowned as he looked back up. But what is responsible for freezing those stone giants...
Not long after they pass above the center of the city where a timeless palace lay, Goldie's figure sped up suddenly and turned into a spot that disappeared from view. And after some time, their figure emerged from within a sea of sparkling colorful cloud tillted to the side as it lay and watch the dazzling celestial heavens which is seemingly displaying right above it.
"That's the place." Skylar pointed at the end of this sparkling and colorful cloud sea where a mountain island floats or sits.
"How do you know about this place? You should know the maximum distance i can see is a hundred tor and that's twice what you can see unless we share my vision..."
"I did not see it, i felt it." Skylar chimed in. Then he stands. "In there is this annoying thing that has been spying on us for quiet a while now." His eyes narrowed. "I want to know. And because it might be kind of dangerous i will have to go in alone."
"Okay, I understand, just be careful. You know." Goldie replied and suddenly after, his suspended figure left behind sonic booms as it head in the direction of the mountain island floating on the tilted sea of cloud which is apparently their next stop.
