Second Half Begins
Kickoff – 46' to 50'
Brugge came out like they'd been given a second match—fresh legs, fresh urgency. The halftime silence in their camp had fermented into friction. And now, it showed.
Bradford started cautiously. Ibáñez and Vélez stayed tighter. Chapman pressed less. The passes slowed.
Jake saw it by the second minute of the half.
Jake (to Paul):
"We're playing like we've already got it."
Paul:
"They think it's enough."
Jake's jaw flexed.
Jake:
"It's not."
50' Minute –
Brugge struck fast and direct.
Lang—just subbed on—immediately tested Rojas with a drive inside from the left. Talbi picked him out with a curved ball through midfield, and Lang didn't hesitate. He shot from a sharp angle.
A deflection off Barnes' thigh sent the ball spinning the wrong way—
Emeka dove the right way.
But the ball didn't find him.
It found the post.
Commentator (Ian Darke):
"They've rattled the woodwork! That could've gone anywhere!"
