The icily wind whipped over the destroyed fortress, while Kael stood on the dark walls. Below him stretched the battlefield, strewn with the corpses of those who had been foolish enough to oppose him. His cloak fluttered like the wings of a demon, and his eyes glowed in the darkness.
Behind him, Lysara, the Assassin, stepped out of the shadows. "The survivors gather in the east. They know they have no chance, but they will fight."
Kael didn't turn around. "Let them come. Today their game ends."
Suddenly, a presence twitched through the air - a power so old and powerful that even the shadows around Kael seemed to tremble. He narrowed his eyes. Something... or someone had come.
A man appeared on the horizon, dressed in golden armor, with a huge spear on his back. His aura was like burning sunlight, a contrast to Kael's gloomy energy.
"This is how we finally meet, Kael Draven." The man's voice echoed across the battlefield. "I am General Alden of the Golden Blade. And in the name of the emperor, I will judge you today."
Kael smiled coldly. "We'll see."
