Chapter 11 - Arena Of Qerd

In the morning, Rebecca try to woke Farrel up by shaking his body with her hands.

"Master, wake up, or you'll miss breakfast..."

Suddenly, Farrel's hands shot up, and his fingers moved as if he were feeling something. He muttered something in his sleep.

"Come on, bitch..."

Rebecca, hearing this, felt a little annoyed. He was dreaming about something but not involving her. She feel a bit jealous

*Pang!!*

She slapped Farrel's face, leaving a red mark on his cheek.

He woke up startled, holding his now-red cheek.

"Ouch... ouchh... Why did you slap me, Rebecca?"

"It was because of a mosquito, Master. To make sure the blood didn't spill, I had to shoo it away."

Farrel didn't suspect anything. It was better to get slapped than for her to switch to another identity.

That morning, they got ready to leave the inn and head to their new house.

As soon as they stepped out, they saw a banner announcing the duel between Farrel and Sam, with Rebecca as the reward.

People had already started gathering as early as 8 a.m. to head to the arena. Many were placing bets, and the betting pool had already reached 100 million gold, with 99% of the bets on Sam.

The remaining 1% was on Farrel, mostly from people who were just betting for fun.

Farrel looked at the chaotic scene on the street, filled with people.

"I didn't know my fight would be this lively. Why are people here so eager to watch this match?"

Rebecca explained that it was because this was the kingdom of love, so any duel involving love was something people loved to watch.

"So, does that mean I'm the cheater or something? But I like watching people suffer for love—at least it eases my heart a little."

"So, let's go, Rebecca. I also want to place a bet—100 million gold coins on me. When I win, you'll take the prize. It's a gift from me."

They walked to the arena and found the betting counter. Luckily, there was no one at their counter.

"But why do I feel a bit annoyed? If at least 10 people bet on me, I'd feel very grateful."

They approached the counter and showed the 100 million gold coins.

The person at the counter was shocked by the amount.

"Are you guys sure about betting this much?"

Farrel and Rebecca nodded.

But the person suddenly mentioned something—it was normal for them to bait customers.

"Someone placed a bet on Sam for around 500 million gold coins. If you bet 500 million, you'll profit 1.8 billion coins after tax—a 400% return."

Hearing this, Farrel's eyes lit up with dollar signs. Without hesitation, he handed over another 500 million.

"Let's go all in."

Rebecca shook her head. This kid really loved money, but at least he looked confident he would win.

And they noticed that someone else had also bet on Farrel—it was Quiraa. The two of them felt a sense of loyalty from her.

"You really have a loyal servant, Master. She already trusts you with her salary."

Then they headed to the entrance for contenders. Here, they had to part ways because only the fighters were allowed inside.

Before they separated, Rebecca gave Farrel some advice.

"Don't beat him too hard. He's still an asset to this kingdom."

"You really don't want to wish me luck for the win, huh?" Farrel teased her a bit.

She suddenly came close and kissed Farrel on the lips, whispering to him, "I know you will win. I never choose the wrong person as my master."

She left and went upstairs, escorted by the guards because the princess and queen had also come to watch the fight. She would be seated with them.

When she arrived at the seating area, four people were already there: the princess, the queen, the high knight, and the minister of the kingdom.

"It's been a long time since we last saw you, Rebecca," the minister greeted her.

She took her seat in the grand chair. The entire arena could be seen from that spot.

The princess looked at Rebecca and tried to persuade her.

"Why not let him surrender, Rebecca, and just come back to us? We need your power. Our kingdom has lost someone valuable."

The queen interrupted the princess.

"Don't be like that. It's our fault for not trusting her before. Right now, she has someone she likes, and I think that man is not weaker than her. She will never find someone weaker than her."

Rebecca's heart was still wounded by the people here. She remained silent because they had even approved of selling her to a foolish noble.

Farrel, looking drowsy, entered the arena. The arena was quite large, with a sandy surface. He tried to spot Rebecca.

He searched for her and finally saw her standing in the area with the queen, which caught his attention. Then he waved to Rebecca.

Rebecca, who had been gloomy and professional, suddenly became cheerful and waved back.

The queen noticed that Rebecca's feelings for the kingdom were gone, but she was relieved because Rebecca had found someone to take care of her.

Suddenly, the announcer began to speak.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the arrival of the most honorable knight of this kingdom, the only one who can defeat a dragon... theeeee saaaaaammmm!"

The doors opened, and from the darkness, something shiny emerged. Sam appeared in his gleaming golden armor, waving to the entire arena.

The crowd began to applaud and cheer, making the atmosphere lively and festive. He then pointed his sword at Farrel, signaling him to prepare.

Farrel, who had been sitting on the ground, stood up.

"Hey, you dickhead, why are you so late? And what's with that armor? Did you just buy it? It looks expensive."

Sam, easily triggered by Farrel's words, issued a warning.

"Rebecca will be mine. You're just a burden to her, and she will fall in love with me."

Farrel couldn't help but smile at Sam's cringy words. The loves sure scary .

"But before we fight, I've already seen her boobs and pussy, you know. Just a reminder, she's also already bathed and slept with me."

Those words made Sam jealous. How could she be like that? F—ck, I'm jealous of him.

Everyone who heard that was shocked. Rebecca, a woman of dignity, could show her assets so easily to Farrel.

People began imagining her body and perverted faces she might make. That sexy body was already famously popular in this kingdom.

Rebecca, hearing this, covered her face in embarrassment.

"Why did you have to tell everyone about that, Farrel?"

The princess, curious about Farrel's words, looked at Rebecca.

"Is... is it true?"

Rebecca nodded her head.

"Ahhhhhhh! That pervert Sam should kill him now!" She was furious.

The queen remained silent, but something stirred in her heart. What kind of man could make Rebecca do that? I'm kind of interested. She smiled, starting to look creepy.

The two of them were ready to fight. Both took their positions, people start getting silent and the announcer started the match with the word:

" Readyyyy Fightttt!!"
