Sam, from where he stood, slashed his sword upward and summoned five flying clone swords.
He smiled and slashed toward Farrel, sending the five swords flying in his direction.
Farrel raised his hand in front of him and used one of his powers, saying..
"Void."
A swirling vortex of darkness emerged, sucking in all the swords Sam had summoned.
Before Sam could react, Farrel was already beside him. Sam swung his sword at Farrel's head, aiming to decapitate him.
But that was only the shadow that he can clone himself .
"Well, you're pretty strong, Sam, but with that power, it's easy for me to win. Try a bit harder."
But this time, Sam didn't feel provoked by Farrel's words. In a fight, he never underestimated his opponent.
Something like an electric spark appeared at his legs, and in the blink of an eye, he disappeared with the speed of wind. He reappeared behind Farrel and slashed at his head again.
"It was easy."
But what shocked everyone was that Farrel could reattach his head without any blood spilling from his body.
"Oops, should we have some fun?"
Sam jumped back to stay on guard.
The princess, seeing Farrel's power, was stunned.
"That's cheating! How can someone not die from his slash?"
Rebecca tried to explain to the princess.
"That's his power, 'The Shadow.' The more interesting part is when he fights—that's when he becomes awesome. It makes me wanna lick him."
Rebecca's words left the four of them speechless. They were kind of scared of her dark side.
Back to the scene where the two of them were fighting.
"Should I attack now?" Farrel couldn't hide his excitement.
The shadow enveloped him, and he disappeared from sight. Sam began to worry about where he had gone.
The shadow beneath Sam began to take on a physical form, and it was Farrel, appearing from behind. He placed his hand on Sam's body.
"Vortex."
Farrel's palm turned black, and with a push, Sam, who hadn't noticed, was sent flying far away.
Dust and sand filled the air, obscuring the view of the arena. People didn't know what had happened.
When the dust began to clear, it revealed Sam sitting far from where he had been standing, using his sword to steady himself against the ground.
Sam's armor was now dirty, and wounds began to appear on his hands as he struggled to stand up.
"That won't make him lose. He's the knight, and it's not just his aura sword—it's because of the blessing from the gods."
Sam's mouth began to move, and he started chanting something. Suddenly, a void filled with light appeared, and an angel emerged from it. The angel was massive, and her assets were equally impressive.
She held a spear, dressed in white armor with a black mask over her eyes. Her lips were small, her breasts large, her stomach slim, and her bottom perfectly shaped.
The queen sighed.
"Why does he need to summon his protector? This is just a match against a human. Looks like Farrel will lose this time."
Sam began giving commands to his protector to attack Farrel. The angel swung her massive spear at Farrel, who tried to block it but couldn't. He was sent flying into the wall and lay there, motionless.
Everyone expected him to lose, and the crowd started cheering.
The princess was happy because Rebecca would return to them, but they noticed Rebecca was calm and not worried about Farrel.
"Don't you worry about him? Maybe he died or something?"
Rebecca shook her head.
"Maybe you guys should stop the match and call it a draw."
The princess was still unsatisfied, feeling that Rebecca was trying to avoid returning to them.
"No, we should get the result already. Sam will win this."
Rebecca sighed. "It's not about winning or losing. It's just that Farrel never loses when he's really protecting someone he treasures the most. I think you guys should know what happened to the noble and lord from where I was sent, right?"
The minister seemed to understand and began explaining to the queen.
"They were brutally killed by one person. That person is called the Guardian in the Shadow. The story was all over the place last week, and that person is being hunted by the royal family from our neighboring country."
Rebecca pointed her finger toward Farrel.
"That's the person who saved me and brutally killed when he gets serious. Even this whole kingdom can't stand against him."
Suddenly, darkness filled the arena. People began to panic, not knowing what to do.
Farrel woke up, his eyes turning purple. He didn't look like himself anymore. He summoned his two daggers and began chanting, "STYGIAN."
In the blink of an eye, Farrel flew toward the angel. She tried to block his attack with her spear, but the pressure from his strike caused cracks in the arena and the ground to split.
In just a few seconds, the angel's weapon shattered into pieces.
Farrel rushed again, this time toward Sam at an incredible speed. But this time, Rebecca, who had come down from above, stopped him.
"You better run now, Sam. The match is already a draw, or all these people here will die."
Rebecca tried her best to hold Farrel back, using her blood to create weapons.
Sam, who had no idea what was happening, ordered his angel to retreat and moved as far back as possible.
But suddenly, Farrel disappeared from Rebecca's sight. This time, he appeared behind Sam and swung his dagger at Sam's head.
Sam, seeing this, couldn't dodge.
"F—ck, I'm going to die..."
Suddenly, Rebecca shouted.
"Stoppp, Master!!!!!!"
Farrel stopped his dagger after hearing her voice, but the tip of the dagger had already grazed Sam's neck. Luckily, it was just a scratch.
Farrel's eyes returned to normal.
"Oops, sorry. Did I overdo it?"
Rebecca ran to Farrel and hugged him.
"Enough. You've already won. Nobody will take me from you."
Farrel was confused, but he knew he had done something wrong.
"I'm sorry..."
