Whenever I moved, the world aided me, the nature bent itself to protect me from damage, energy blasts were redirected through portals, the constant beating heart of this world fueled by my body with strength, I continued moving, not stopping for even a millisecond, because that wasted time would only lead to my death.
My body is slowly breaking apart from the amount of mana coursing through it. If I were to reduce the amount, though, I would die instantly because I couldn't keep up with all the spells, so it's a fight against time.
Moving with intention, I push my hand against the nth parasite as I push the mana poisoning the true owner of this body out of this dimension, allowing a nearby enemy to blast my back with another green energy blast, lowering my HP even further.
'FUCK.' I thought as I opened a portal for me and the now freed human to move away, teleporting us to a nearby roof, away from their scope of perception and giving me a chance to breathe and meditate.

I felt my body fill back with life, but my scowl remained as I saw the weakening form of Obsidian. It made my heart ache, seeing how I couldn't protect those I hold dear, but it also strengthened my resolve to grow even stronger.
Opening a portal to where Mary was, I switched Obsidian with Ivy to let him rest while hugging Mary.
When Ivy moved around my arm, she received a brief explanation of what was going on, and to say she was livid would have been an understatement.
While she did that, though, I looked back at some of the notifications I had received.

I felt my mind expand as I reached a never before seen level of control over mana, a previously unexplored world of sensation filled my body, I felt the space around shift in my presence as if waiting to obey my command, I felt the mold what filled the walls of this house more than ready to kill itself if it meant prolonging my life for just a second further, all of my muscles, bones, organs were working overtime, fueled by the now almost thundering World's Heart.
But my journey for the discovery of mana was interrupted by the sound of battle on the outside, so, after making sure that the man I had just saved was ok, I teleported outside and looked at what was happening, my eyes almost getting burned from a big explosion, fighting the previously dark area.
'Who the fuck threw a flashbang?'
My eyes returned to normal as I saw the Fantastic 4, now 5, with the help of the woman who had tried to stab me, fighting the remaining parasites, trying to push inside the cavern of the site, where I now could feel most of the parasitic mana was coming from.
Opening a portal, I immediately rush trough an hit the chest of one of the fuckers who was about to throw another of those fucking green blasts and use a shit ton of my mana to banish him away, leaving behind an old man who I teleported away with the remaining mana I had, now leaving me with only my physical body to defend myself, oh and the constant HP regen bonus from Ivy and several weapons inside my inventory, but aside from those... ok maybe I am not that weak even without mana.
" WE HAVE TO PUSH INSIDE AND CLOSE THE PORTAL FROM WHERE THEY CAME FROM." Reed Richards shouted as he split his body in two to evade an energy blast, I won't ask how the fuck that was possible and instead do what he says, I ain't the smartest one here.
Taking my sword from my inventory, I stab a distracted parasite in the leg from behind, taking out another sword and piercing his other leg, now held in place, I just had to choke him to make him fall unconscious, healing his injuries with my own HP and taking back my swords.
" Was that necessary?" A feminine voice asks from the side
Appearing out of nowhere, a woman, my god, was she thicc, yes, with the double c, with an annoyed face.
" The mind of the owner of the body is under slumber; he didn't feel anything, and even if he did, it is better than dying. I even healed his injuries."
She finally seemed to notice that even though there was quite some blood on the ground, the previously blood-pumping holes were nowhere to be seen.
" Oh... try not to stab people though."
" I won't if they don't do it first," I said while pointing at my shirt under my coat, covered in holes, which were quickly repaired with a quick cast of Repair(Clothes).
She seemed ready to say something, but got interrupted by the scream of the remaining fuckers, activating Mana eyes I saw the parasitic mana present in their bodies go back to the hole, leaving behind only people that needed serious healing.
Seeing the problem finally dealt with, I felt my connection to the world finally return to normal, as the anger that was previously fueling my body with strength lower, the plants around the area gaining back their life thanks to Ivy's help, and the space that had been distorted return back to normal as the presence of parasites from not this dimension disappeared.
Sighing, I cried my neck from the stress I had kept under check, thanks to my powers finally hitting me, I don't even remember how many times I almost died, but feeling the happiness of this world made it all worth it, if felt like seeing an infant smile, who the hell doesn't find that cute and worth protecting?
" Now we can talk." The voice of the first of the Fantastic 4 I had met said from behind me, some of the rocks that composed his body having seen better days.
"Yeah, sure, why not, though I don't think it's the best to stay here, how about we go to my place?" I said while opening a portal to Kamar-Taj, because if there is one thing I am sure of, it is that the Ancient One could deal with all of them while sleeping.
