While Ark was still thinking about what had happened, a soldier ran up to him panting heavily.
"D-Damian wants to see you in the p-planning room."
They already had a meeting set for today, both he and Damian were to share their observations, but it was still rather early…
"Emma, can I see your phone?"
Emma slipped out her phone and passed it to him and all he did was tap the power button to check the time.
'4:59… one hour earlier than expected.'
"Who did you receive this message from?"
The man looked rather confused by his question but he answered almost immediately:
"Miss Lauretta did."
Ark's mood dampened slightly but he did not let it show, instead he simply dismissed the soldier and then turned to face the child.
"Alright Chief, we'll see tomorrow alright?"
The boy nodded ecstatically and was about to leave when Ark stopped him.
"Go to the cafeteria and tell the head chef that Captain Ark asked her to give you a treat. Take it as a reward for your work today."
