"He's partially out of danger for now, Mr. Basti," the doctor, an alpha, said to Caius who had his gaze on Yuri who was unconscious on the bed. "We'll have to monitor him to see how things go."
"When is he going to wake up?" he asked.
The doctor went silent.
Caius's hands balled by his sides and so did the veins at his neck pop. "I asked, when is he going to wake up?"
"I don't…know. But we are hoping that he will," the doctor tried to mellow his words as much as he could. "Mr. Basti, he got shot in his chest, specifically in his heart. It's already a miracle that he survived it. A shot at the heart barely has a survival rate, his heart bled a lot, he lost a lot of blood, so let's be happy a little bit that he's still breathing."
He added, "I don't know when he will wake up from his coma. It could take a month or more, but at least he's breathing. That means there is a chance."
