Chapter 76 - 76. Gift for the mas...

"That... Was interesting." Remarked Citar, squeezing his neck.

"That's an understatement." Suk rolled his eyes. "I had no idea that there was such a thing underground." The boy grimaced.

"It was like a nyiumgyi, but it wasn't a nyiumgyi." Rahul also scratched his head. All the members of the Athamanas had a hard time comprehending the experience they were going through.

"Are the nyiumgyi such black and yellow human-like things?" Citar blinked, but Rahul just shook his head.

"No, nyiumgyis are more like small cubes, only they are not absolute cubes and they bounce and I have never seen a black one before. There are green ones, blue ones, purple ones, even red ones, but I haven't seen a black one yet." He grabbed his chin.

"Do you have such things in the wild?" Benkó asked.

"Yes, and they eat all the fruit." Rahul shrugged.

"I already understand why that clapping thing is needed." Achilleus sighed, then grimaced. "I will never be able to think about changes of territory in the same way after that." He closed his eyes.

"Did you have to remind me now, brother?" Benkó poured a bowl for the person standing next to him.

"Shall I wring your neck?" The Motumisz child shot back.

"Boys. That's enough!" Teveli scolded them. "We have more important things to do than dealing with Lamassa. He said someone was draining his kí through the lava flows. That doesn't sound right for some reason. Wandi, do you know anything about this?" He turned to the Vojk heir.

"No. Whoever does it, however, is not in our domain." He shook his head.

"The Vojks guard their territory better than any other tribe and the danovuses have no reason to meddle with nature." Razvan noted.

"But then who can it be?" Citar scratched his head.

"I do not know." Razvan admitted, but from the way his mouth stood it could be concluded that he was not happy about this fact.

"Maybe Master Mo knows something. After all, he has centuries of experience in the lands of Madüjawr." Teveli said.

"Not a bad idea, we wanted to take the minerals to him anyway." The boss nodded.

"Play say we don't have to climb the Floating Rocks again." Rahul begged, but all hope was lost when the team members started grinning. "Master, why do you have to live in such a crappy place?" He asked the sarcastic question, but he didn't wait for an answer, he just waved. "All the same. Achilleus where is the valley now?" He explained, and the Motumisz boy immediately took out his map and started studying it. A few moments later, he nodded, and with a big smile on his face, he set off in the direction of the sunset.

"After me! I'll show you the way!" He waved, and the team immediately followed him. The road leading to the Valley of the Floating Rocks was exceptionally calm. The only interesting thing was when the grandpa appeared sometimes to entertain the team for a couple of hours with his stories or annoy them with his comments. Finally, after a week of travel, they reached their destination.

Fortunately or unfortunately for Rahul, Razvan took him up onto the largest floating rock again, even though the boy was now strongly opposed to this plan. However, in the end, he couldn't do anything, as Razvan simply wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him along, as if he hadn't heard Rahul's words.

Up on the rock, the team decided every year, to greet their master with the usual shooting practice, after all, that annual shooting had to be right now. And old habits disappear slowly and with difficulty. So the team members picked up their bows and arrows and started shooting. Although Rahul felt a bit guilty about damaging Master Mo's trees, he quickly dismissed the thought, after all the chán man could easily heal his plants, nothing bad came from what they did.

"Something is wrong..." Citar became serious, lowering his bow.

"I'm out of arrows." Suk continued the thought with a serious face.

"Master Mo is nowhere." Achilleus said the obvious.

"Let's collect the arrows and look at his house to see if he was busy and left us a message." Razvan said, and the team nodded as one. They pulled the arrows out of the fruit trees one by one and Rahul healed the trees. And the Athamanas finally went to Master Chá's house.

To their greatest surprise, there was complete silence, not even the birds were chirping. The house looked as if no one had been there for weeks. No message anywhere, just the empty house and the oppressive silence. The Athamanas looked everywhere they could think of, but could find no sign of their master or anything.

"Where can I?" Citar blinked in front of him, frowning.

"We didn't invite him anywhere, so if he's not here in the valley, he can only be in one place." Said Razvan, suddenly raising his head, when he remembered the most logical possibility.

"In Chájna!" The rest of the team except for Rahul said.

"Then we just have to wait." Citar smiled and was about to throw himself down next to the table, but he saw his friend's worried face. "What's wrong Rahul?" He asked, getting everyone to look at the mentioned.

"Master Mo wouldn't go back there if there wasn't something really wrong with his clan. I saw the way he looked when he took me there, as if someone had pulled his teeth." The boy shook his head.

"Are you saying there could be a problem?" Teveli asked with a worried look.

"Yes." Rahul nodded.

"But what should we do?" Achilleus looked at everyone nervously.

"We have no other choice. He is our master. We have to help!" Benkó declared.

"Exactly, if nothing else we need to make sure he's okay." Citar also agreed with a nod. And with this, he managed to solidify the determination of the team members.

"I don't want to spoil everyone's enthusiasm, but even if we wanted to, we couldn't help him. It's not like we can just go to Chájna, but even if we could go, we wouldn't know where to look for the master." Suk shook his head.

"Don't be so sure." Rahul grinned. "I know where to go." He pulled himself out. "After all, the master took me over once. So Tapló leader, shall we go after the master?" He asked the team leader the question. Razvan finally nodded and smiled faintly.

"Let's go. Rahul show us the way please." He put his hand on the boy's shoulder. Rahul nodded and then turned around and walked to the end of the house.

"Let's go, team, I'll leave the last one behind." He said with a faint smile that he conjured up on his face just to hide how much he didn't want to face what was waiting for them on the other side.

Just as the chán Master Mo led the chüvigh boy a year ago, now Rahul led his team into the secret cave. Fortunately, not a single member of the Athamana objected when he led them into the blind darkness, they only chatted about how curious they were about what the real Chájna might be like. Is it like in the fairy tales, or is it completely different, just as the land of the chüvighs was different. Soon there was light at the end of the tunnel, and Rahul grinned as he stepped out into the sunlight, onto the same cliff where he had stood last year.

"Well, I welcome you to the land of Master Mo's clan." He spread his arms and pointed to the floating rocks that lay before them and the endless pastures below them.
