Chapter 77 - 77. Lost clan leader

"For the love of turul birds! Here you see the earth!" Citar squealed happily as he put his hands over his eyes to cover the sun.

"Yes." Rahul swallowed and stepped closer to the rock.

"Are we in Chájna?" Benkó blinked in disbelief.

"Definitely." Razvan nodded.

"This is amazing!" Several people said excited and almost everyone stood on the edge of the cliff to see as far as possible.

"And now where?" Citar put his hands on his hips, then turned his head around, looking for a way.

"On that!" Rahul pointed in the direction of the nearest floating rock. "The last time I was here, Master Mo took me there." He shrugged, but didn't move a bit.

"And how did you get there?" Achilleus scratched his head. "There are no small rocks anywhere." He narrowed his eyes. And Rahul took a big swallow.

"Those two ropes over there." He poked at the ropes stretched between the two rocks. "Something like a pallet made of wooden boards moves on them." He swallowed and looked off into the distance. At the edge of the other rock there was also the small equipment.

"Well, we can't get through that now." Benkó grimaced.

"Shall we fly through on swords?" Citar asked the question, and Razvan slapped him in the head. "Why now? I didn't say anything bad." The Bolacsuk boy got worked up.

"Idiot." Razvan rolled his eyes. "It takes a lot of energy to fly on a sword. We have no idea what happened to Master Mo, we better save our strength for emergencies."

"Are you telling us to jump? That's twice the distance at home among the floating rocks." Citar was perplexed, and Rahul blew a whistle.

"I have a better idea." He noted, then closed his eyes. "Vanne." He whispered the name when the dragon appeared on his shoulder.

"Did you call me master?" Rahul nodded to the question.

"I'd like you to take the team over there." The Chüvigh boy pointed to the right rock.

"Nothing is simpler, master." Announced the supernatural being, then he jumped off the boy's shoulder and his figure grew in flight, but to such an extent that his front legs were on the distant floating rock, and his back legs were on the cliff. "Come on little hegins. Come." The team was encouraged by the dragon, among whom Rahul started first.

"So, what are we scared of?" He asked with an evil smile on his face as he looked back at the others from the middle of Vanne's back. The team only blinked at him, but finally Razvan followed Rahul, which got the rest of the Athamanas to start as well. "Thanks for your help Vanne." Rahul stroked the dragon's head after they had all passed.

"Anytime master." The dragon closed his eyes and his figure faded.

"Come on guys, let's see if Master Mo is at his house." Rahul waved as he started in front of the team. They soon saw the house where Rahul had last spent a night. But before they could enter the house, they heard voices.

"There are many." Citar hissed, holding his sword in front of him.

"They know the terrain. Positional advantage." Achilleus established.

"But we are stronger." Wandi pulled his lips into a faint smile.

"We don't attack unless we are attacked. We did not come as enemies. So Citar put down your sword." Razvan said seriously. "Whoever you are, come forward." He looked away in the direction of the forest.

Slowly, several young people dressed in brown clothes appeared from the trees, all of them holding weapons and looking at the team with sparks in their eyes. No one moved for a few minutes, then one of the brown-clad men stepped forward.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" His voice was strangely hoarse in the common language, like someone who is not used to using this language. The hegins have always been lucky in this respect, since each tribe among them spoke in their own dialect, so they had to learn the common language from an early age so that the different tribes could understand each other. And the chüvighs only spoke the common language.

"From the mountains and on foot." The leader of the Athamanas declared, as if nothing was clearer. The strangers exchanged a few words with each other, which only made the Athamanas look at each other with suspicion.

"If you don't tell us where you took our clan leader, you will all die! " The advocate stepped closer to Razvan and pressed his sword to his throat.

"Has the master been kidnapped?" Teveli asked surprised, but he immediately pulled himself out when a sword pressed against his neck.

"Silence!" His attacker pounced on him.

"Answer me!" The advocate pressed the sword closer to Razvan's throat.

"If I answer, you won't believe what I say." The leader of the Athamana spoke with surprising calmness.

"Well, I've had enough." Rahul grabbed his head, and he also got a sword to his throat, but instead of standing still, he unwound the sword from the attacker's hand and threw it to the ground, then punched the stranger in the nose. "Will you listen or should I shoot?" He asked with a serious look as he pulled out the special weapon that Master Mo had taught him to make from the sleeve of his dress.

"Where did you hide that?" Citar's eyes widened, but not only his, the strangers' eyes too.

"From Master Mo's house, I took it out of the closet where he last put it. I thought it would be useful." The boy waved.

"You have no idea how to use it, you just stole it from our clan leader!" The advocate shouted angrily, and a faint smile crossed Rahul's lips as he raised the gun in front of him and held it directly at the advocate.

"Do you want to bet?" Came the whispered question, which caused the advocate to swallow. "Come on kid! Put the sword down nice and slow. We don't want to jump at each other's necks when the master is in danger." Said Rahul calmly, but his radiance and his gaze revealed that he would shoot everyone present without any problems. The strangers slowly lowered their arms, so Rahul also nodded and lowered his hand. "Tapló boss, I think these belong to Master Mo's clan and we should introduce ourselves to them." The boy shrugged.

"Why do you call him master?!" The advocate hissed with a fiery look.

"Because he's my master." The boy rolled his eyes. "As are theirs." He looked at his team, when the advocate suddenly took a deep breath and looked at the team with wide eyes.

"Are you hegins from Madüjawr?" The question came as a surprise to the team.

"Do they live anywhere else?" Razvan rolled his eyes and folded his arms in front of him.

"Athamana." Disbelieving whispers came from several directions.

"As you say. We are the Athamana." Razvan grinned.

"Disciples of the clan leader." The advocate blinked at the team.

"That's what we said too." Rahul frowned. "What happened to the master?" He called the strangers to account.

"Clan leader Mo... Him..." The advocate began and clenched his fists. "He was kidnapped five days ago." He finally said, but with his words he only managed to make the members of the Athamana look at each other. The master had been kidnapped, so it was understandable why he wasn't in Madüjawr when the Archery started.

"Athamanas, let's save the master." Razvan stated, with which he managed to make all the hegins grin.
